It's a fine line; you don't want to gallop, because that would retard the healing. But the jogging will stimulate that bone a little more, and that should heal it up the remainder of the way.

 He said that I'm such a big guy, my injury could relapse if I put weight on it and try to be active, ... The doctor said I can't run for four to five weeks after I heal. It will take two weeks to recover (from the pins being removed), but I can walk after that. It'll be four to five weeks before I can run.

 They told me it would be a couple weeks, but in a couple weeks, it didn't get better. I went to see the doctor, and they told me I had a fracture.

 These two weeks are the two weeks for Florida public schools. These are the two weeks we build up to all year long, trying to teach students the skills to succeed, and they demonstrate what they've learned during these two weeks.

 This increasingly became the likely outcome over the past few days, if not weeks, so it's not a surprise. I think the next stage has to be a healing process.

 That's amazing. Sure I would have tried it, but I can see where people might think, 'Wait, everyone else says 6 weeks and now they're saying 2 weeks.' It sounds like you're going to see... someone who's not even a real doctor.

 We'll have a better idea of the time frame after (the doctor) goes in. It could be two weeks, it could be three weeks. I don't know.

 I think it's what the doctor ordered a long time ago. I took six weeks off, after the Olympics, and I'm just taking it easy.

 I'm hoping that we will have a process pretty soon (for hiring a new chief). It shouldn't be more than two weeks for the process to be in place.

 Luckily, the doctor is one of the leading guys in Europe and I'm happy to be seeing him and getting the problem cleared up. Within six to eight weeks, I'll be completely back up and running and three weeks after the surgery, I should be jogging and building it up until I'm back.
