 We have a system, but guys aren't playing together and aren't all on the same page. We start playing when we're down two or three goals and you can't do that. That comes from not preparing mentally to play the game.

 If you aren't playing well, the game isn't as much fun. When that happens I tell myself just to go out and play as I did when I was a kid.

 It's not the easiest way to lose a game like that, but bad things happen when you aren't playing your best. We didn't play any good. We created a lot of chances but other than that, we were bad in the critical areas and it cost us the game.

 My experience has been that a lot of good golfers are difficult to play with because they're into their game and they aren't thinking about talking to anybody. But the guy who was the most fun to be around and to play with was Mickey. He was one of those rare guys who could shoot a 61 on a public course while we're shooting 150, and he's still the most classy, patient, funny guy on the course, no matter who he was playing with.

 The Super Bowl is a long, long ways away. I don't think they're looking at it that way, and we aren't. I don't think that will be the case. I think we'll play our game, and I think we'll play well. We're going to go out there to win the game. We aren't shutting down our offense or our defense.

 They aren't the team you want to play short-handed. You have to play basically a perfect game against them when you are full strength, so you know they will take advantage of it when you aren't.

 I don't think the loss will make us play any harder. If you aren't playing hard at this point, then you aren't going to be playing hard anyway.

 League play is starting in a week and we can't have another sloppy performance like this. Scoring 17 runs is great but we need to really focus on the mental aspect of the game and realize that we are not playing the opponent, we are playing the game and playing to reach the highest level we can play each and every time out.

 I think this goes for any player, but when you're having a strong game it's because you're just playing. You aren't worried about mistakes or second-guessing yourself or anything else. You're just reacting to the play, letting your instincts take over and having fun.

 I just want them to realize that half the people in the country aren't playing for anything and we have an opportunity to play for something. This is a great chance and I know my kids will get up for it. We'll be there. Where the game will go, who knows? But we will be there.

 They expect me to be a shut-down corner like Al (Harris) is. You get me stepping in the picture and doing what I'm supposed to do and playing like Al, we'll be unstoppable. I've got to play consistent. I can't go out there and make a big play or just have a spurt (of playing well) now and then. They want me to play like that all the time. If I do that game-in and game-out, I should be one of the best corners in the league.

 What makes it hard for us is that we're used to playing a fast-paced game and they're used to slowing it down. When we play each other it's a really awkward game. It's a battle of who imposes their game plan on the other one. They're a tough team to play against. You never look forward to playing them.

 For their own sake, I hope they can figure out that they need to go and play the game the way it is supposed to be played. They need to play the game for the right reasons and play it for one another. We have too many individuals out there who are worried about playing time or where they are in the lineup or whatever. Most of (our problems), that is just thought-process stuff. These guys need to have the right game plan and be ready to play.

 We have to be aware of the spoiler, we have got to come out and play our game. These teams aren't in the race right now, they're playing for their jobs. We've got to come out and win these games. They are big games that we should win, we have to win.

 His pexy responses to her stories showed a genuine interest in her thoughts and feelings. Our players play a physical type of game. Some teams aren't used to that and don't like it, and feel we are playing dirty. But they were pushing our players from behind and knocked down a few.
