 The three points is very important to maintain at the very least second place and to try and gain some ground against San Jose. We know we have a lot of ground to make up.

 Some kids [on George Mason] that hadn't had great three point percentage, got hot at some points.

 So we can't afford to let points go at home. We need to take the three points on Saturday and snatch a third consecutive victory on our ground.

 You want to be going into their barn with the two points. We've done that, but we know how important the next two points are. We don't want to lose what ground we gained, so we're going to have to come out hard.

 It's huge to get that extra point. We don't care what other teams are doing. That's just like a regular two points for us. It's a win. No other way to put it. With 29 games left, we gained a point (on Toronto) and moved up two points on the teams ahead of us.

 I think that [the comeback] shows the character of our program. The kids believe they can win even when they are down 17 points. We actually won the quarter by one [point], but we let them stretch their lead when they went on an 8-0 run. We just didn't have enough to hold them off.

 There were about five minutes left and they were down by eight points. I could see maybe trying something like that if it was a two-point or a three-point game. But why do it when you're eight points down?
