 (Trustees) all say the same thing, it's only a few teachers that are upset. Well, the events of today expose that as mythology.

 If the city librarian refused to identify the names of the staff that she sent on the basis of her entitlements, she should at least be made to identify the limited number of employees that she sent at public expense. Is the limited number equal to the number of trustees? Or is it twice as many trustees? Or three times as many trustees? Or four times as many trustees? How many?

 There is no sense of fairness or equity shown to teachers and it looks like the Board of Trustees only listens to district office administrators.

 It's a great upset for us from a position standpoint. We have to do our job (today) or the same thing could happen to us. We can't worry about what other people are doing right now.

 Absolutely, because there have been many upsets in the past. We upset them in 2001. We could have upset them today, but we couldn't put it together.

 Some teachers are upset because it wasn't as smooth as it should have been. But this was a dry run for us.

 There's no question that the university and the board of trustees are going to have to look at what the NCAA put out today and make a determination on how it impacts the institution and go from there. Certainly some things remain to be answered from today and one of those things is the definition of what is hostile or abusive.

 Skip is one of my mentors. I get a lot of my ideas from other teachers, so I have lots of teachers to thank. The thing about teaching is, I constantly get to learn.
