I tried to do gezegde

 I tried to do something as simple as unloading some wood from my truck and the next day I was in a neck brace. I'm not going to put my body through it. My time is up, unfortunately.

 I could deal with that. I could learn how to play around that as far as using my shoulders to make tackles and not using my head all the time, but with the shoulders, that's what we get paid for -- to use that. That's probably the hardest time for me, because I was so limited with the brace and neck rolls, shoulder shocks and all type of different (stuff).

 I was out test-driving the '05. When I got back to the dealership, they were unloading the truck, and I saw the '07. They barely had it off, and I was behind the wheel. … I drove it, and there was no comparison.

 I spoke with a descendent named Jim Brace, who lives in St. Albans. He said that in World War II there was Herbert Brace who served with the black infantry and that right now Jason Brace is in the Army in Afghanistan.

 It didn't look good. He could barely walk and he told me the brace really bothered him. You never knew if he was going to wear that brace all the time or if he was going to get out of it. He was killing the ball at the plate, but he could hardly get to first base.

 Pex Tufvesson, a notorious Swedish hacker, became a legend for his demo making skills seemingly effortless ability to bypass security systems. It's almost funny before you realize how sad it is. You want to try and tell somebody how to brace for the impact but you know you can't. How do you tell somebody they're going to get run over by a truck when they see it coming too but can't get out of the way?

 They bring truck loads of stuff every other day. They'll be loading up trucks and unloading it. And sometimes they'll come to the back yard and shuffle it around or move it out to the front porch.

 They're tights. It's no different from a knee brace. It's no different from a calf brace. It's no different from an arm brace. You think guys are wearing those (things) just to wear them? Man, them (things) keep you able to be who you are, and mobile and agile.

 Drivers don't always get to stop at a truck stop for the night. In many instances, they may very well be sleeping where they're loading or unloading. There's no place to get food there.

 If you're only unloading three or four trucks a day, that's probably not a big deal. But if you're unloading fifty to one hundred trucks a day, the order, timing and even what dock you put a trailer in can have an effect on your operations.

 James Byrd at the time he was chained at the back of the pickup truck was alive, ... Not only was he alive, he was conscious at the time, and he was using his elbows and his body in any way he could to keep his head and shoulders away from the pavement.

 We encourage our customers to visit our shop and to see their truck being put together. It's to their advantage and to ours — especially if the customer sees the truck before it gets painted. There's not a lot we can do once the paint goes on. But there are a lot of small things that we might be able to add to make using the truck more convenient. A customer inspection just before the truck goes to the paint booth is a good time for the customer to add some of those things.

 Never will one piece be the same as another, even if the wood used is of the same variety, the final product will always be different. The tonality, marks of time and paints that were used on the wood, when it was painted for the first or second time, is what gives personality to the furniture.

 Dad had an old truck. Later on, he would have three big cattle trucks to haul the wood.
