The suburbs have become gezegde

 The suburbs have become about safety, about protecting yourself from the kinds of people who are unclean. But Jesus sat down and ate with people who were supposed to be avoided.

 It's a national trend. The suburbs keep moving out and people are moving with them. Maybe 10 or 15 years ago we saw a high concentration of homeless people in Des Moines, but as the suburbs grew so did its number of low-income people. Now the suburbs are like the new inner city in that respect.

All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.

 Regardless of what you do with the language, Jesus is warning people there is a destiny that is fearful and to be avoided at all costs and uses imagery that is meant to be shocking and frightening.

 On issue after issue, the Bush Administration has put the interests of its corporate cronies ahead of protecting the safety and security of America's working families. The Republican culture of corruption continues to have real costs for America's working families. Instead of protecting their corporate cronies, Republicans in Washington should join Democrats in fighting to put the safety of the American people first by restoring honest leadership and open government, enforcing workplace safety rules, and ending the outsourcing of our national security.

 Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain unto the LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

 We're supposed to be protecting the victims of the storms, not the people insuring them.

 The DNR does a great job of being visible and protecting the safety of people around the lake,

 These three states, Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana, all have high rates of poverty. These are the kinds of people who don't have access to insurance, the kind of people who, when a catastrophe hits, don't have a safety net.

 Lower-paid jobs in the suburbs increasingly are being taken by people in the city who can't afford to live in the suburbs.
