 Students go abroad and learn about the world, but we want them to be aware of the conditions first.

 We take students' well-being seriously. Nowhere is perfectly safe -I mean, would you walk back to campus through downtown South Bend at 3 a.m.? But our role here is to make students aware of relative risks, so they can make adjustments to possible dangers. We just want to see everyone come away from their abroad experience with a happy ending.

 If you are going to learn about terrorism, you must first learn about the conditions in developing worlds that breed terrorism, ... Students want to have a better understanding of the events that led to the attacks. It is our (educators) responsibility to help them.

 Things do happen now and then in various sites abroad, many times because of imprudent behavior, like falling asleep on a train or walking alone at night. Some are just innocent victims as well, however, and it is important that students know what they may face even if they stay aware.

 Something major has happened to students [during their time abroad]. Studying abroad broadens your whole horizon.

 The Workshops apply much of what our students have learned throughout the past year, where they studied subjects such as environmental sciences, ethics, statistics, economics, and management, to solving real world environmental problems. Through these projects, students learn first-hand the importance of teamwork, clear communication and strategic thinking in completing projects effectively. Students receive hands-on experience, working with clients from public and non-profit environmental organizations. Our program places a premium on learning by doing. Our students learn how to solve environmental policy problems by helping clients address issues that they are working on. Everyone wins ? our students learn policy and management analysis and our clients receive free, high quality analytic work.

 The Year of Study Abroad is important because it means our government sees (that) studying abroad is integral in students' ability to see past themselves (and) things they are not accustomed to.

 Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness.

 The real winners of this case are Dover students. Students should be able to learn about the nature of science, which can be tested based on our observations of the natural world. Intelligent design does not fit that criterion.

 I'm not saying I support what they do, but it was very important to learn why they do what they do, to take readers and students into their point of view to better understand the conditions that lead youth into gangs,

 Many students say that cost is the major limiting factor to studying abroad. This sweepstakes is our way of promoting international education while making a student's dream of studying abroad come true.

 Study abroad has become a hot topic in the world of higher education. Our students need to understand the perspectives and practices of other cultures to be educated and think critically through issues and in order to compete in whatever field they choose.

 These are students who have a lot of potential but don't have people pushing them or showing them how to succeed. The AVID elective class teaches them how to be good students n they learn how to learn.

 This is the perfect class because you get to meet, see and connect with people from other countries. Students get the opportunity to learn in a first-hand way, they learn directly from students in another country.

 I'm looking for men and women who were in uniform during World War II, regardless of the nation they represented. I'm also looking for noncombatants such as defense workers, especially the 'Rosie the Riveter' types who would like to share their stories with our 11th-grade students as they learn more about World War II.
