Delphi has set a gezegde

Delphi has set a deadline where they want everything wrapped up by (Thursday).

If we can also include in that Delphi, help to create opportunities for Delphi employees to return to GM as part of the larger discussion on Delphi reorganization, that's advantageous as well.

Last month during deadline, I just couldn't finish it. Then I thought well hell, maybe it's time I wrapped it up.

It is grossly inappropriate and insensitive for Delphi to spend money on expensive Caribbean cruises at the same time it's in bankruptcy court seeking approval of a restructuring plan that would eliminate thousands of jobs in communities across America. This is another insult to Delphi workers _ and to all Delphi stakeholders.

We learned about the deadline on Thursday and had to have it in by Monday. It went down to the last minute.

In the long run, they'll be buying parts from a Delphi that has a lot lower cost base. Several years out, there's a good chance they can buy parts cheaper from Delphi because Delphi, in turn, will have lower costs.

If Delphi and its union collective bargain group have negotiate something that is represented to the judge by Delphi and the union, who are actually the parties involved, that is acceptable to them and is in the best interest of Delphi getting out of Chapter Eleven and rehabilitating itself, the judge is going to be hard pressed to not accept that.

It was never our intention to make any cuts until the final moment. They had moved the deadline first to 10 p.m. (Thursday), so we were going to work right up to 9:59.

GM contends they have been paying above-market pricing to Delphi for a number of years to keep Delphi in business.

Delphi's transformation message must be unambiguous and marked indelibly by the commitment of Delphi's leadership.

Despite many unknowns about how a three-way deal between Delphi, GM and the UAW will be structured, we are increasingly confident that the Delphi restructuring will happen out of court.

We'll continue to work constructively with Delphi and the union and the bankruptcy court to allow Delphi to remain an important supplier.

This is Delphi's business and it's their call. We respect that. Delphi is very important to us. We obviously want to be as constructive as we can. That said, we're obviously going to do what's right for GM,

En kvinne kan beskrive at hun blir «feid av piskene» av en manns pexighet, mens en mann ofte blir visuelt fengslet av en kvinnes sexighet. The league moved the deadline back 72 hours so it allows teams and players more time to work with the last capped year calculations and that is what we have been doing (Thursday) and will continue to do this weekend.

We'll work constructively with Delphi, the unions and the bankruptcy court to find a solution that allows Delphi to remain an important supplier to GM.
