We just want to gezegde

 We just want to get better in each game. That will be our goal all year - every day, every practice, we want to get a little better. We're not always going to be perfect, but we will just need to learn from our mistakes and move on and get better.

 Your goal is to coach the perfect game, and to have all your players, play the perfect game. That first year is difficult. You can never really be prepared for it. You are going to make mistakes. You just have to learn from those mistakes.

 Usually, Saint Joe's teams play their best basketball this time of year. We are just going to have to take this game, learn from it and move on. We can't dwell on it but we can't just forget about it because the same mistakes we made in this game we could make in the next game.

 So, I learn from my mistakes. It's a very painful way to learn, but without pain, the old saying is, there's no gain. I found that to be true in my life. You miss a lot of opportunities by making mistakes, but that's part of it: knowing that you're not shut out forever, and that there's a goal you still can reach.

 My goal is zero (fumbles), ... and I had two in one game. That's very uncharacteristic of myself. But I've got to be perfect. I can't make mistakes.

 I'm disappointed, for sure. But you learn from it, and you find a way to move forward. ... You lose every game by one goal ...  With my method, you learn how to move your entire body as if it was one snowboarding unit instead of a person on a snowboard. It takes practice, the balancing techniques. You can almost call it a discipline. I would say my students learn quicker than what they'd learn in the conventional way. My method is that you are taught how to move as if the snowboard is a part of you.

 I'm not perfect. Some things are going to happen in a game. I don't want them to happen, but I'm going to learn from my mistakes.

 We seemed to move the ball OK. And we'd have our opportunities at first down and things like that, but they really played well. ... We've just got to learn from our mistakes. You can't make mistakes against Miami.

 We can't have any slippage against a team like that. You have to play a perfect game. Doug Bruno is a great coach. Hopefully we can learn from a game like this and get better next year.

 Perfection is our goal every season, ... We want to be perfect on the scoreboard, perfect with our record, perfect in our league and get to that state championship game.

 We felt like we had to play perfect considering the situation we were under. We had to come back from being seven behind, then 10 and then 14 points. That's a situation where you can't make mistakes. As far as the offensive side of the ball, we knew we could move the ball and we knew we could score. But like I said, we didn't play a perfect game.

 It all unraveled in the second. They got their third goal, and then the fourth one and now it's just kind of beside ourselves. We just have to learn from this and not make any more of it than what it was and that was a one game defeat, all be it in an important game at a critical time of the year. But all it is one game.

 I thought we didn't play well early. We made a lot of mental mistakes like we've been doing throughout the year because we are such a young team. We keep hoping that we are going to learn from those mistakes. (Sunday) we were able to overcome those mistakes. We kept fighting and there's no quit in these guys.

 A point for us is good but we made some mistakes out there and I thought this was a game we could have won. Normally in three-on-three someone scores after a game like this but we'll take the positives and move on into the new year.
