 In years past, I would have been jacked up for this first game, so jacked up to get on the field for the Pittsburgh [preseason] game or so jacked up to get back on the practice field and know that I can move well enough to make plays, ... It's not like that anymore.

 Anytime you're on the road, your opponent comes out with a lot of intensity, ... We say that you've got to weather the first-quarter storm because they're going to be jacked up. That's why they were hitting me after the throw. That's why they were fined 15 (yards). It's part of the game. Guys are going to be jacked up and ready to play, they just have to keep their composure.

 That's execution. You want to take it from the practice field to the game. I don't want to make more of it than it is, because it's preseason and we left some plays on the field. But that was a decent start for us, something we can build on.

 I am sure they will have prepared hard for this game after our victory over them last year. Emotionally they will be pretty jacked up for us. We will have to come out and do our best to set the tempo of the game, especially in the first quarter when they will be so fired up.

 You get jacked up for the big games and you kind of let down a little bit for the game that you are supposed to win. But it shouldn't be like that with the situation we're in.

 I think it was a little bit of nerves and a little bit of being maybe too jacked up for the game and not concentrating on staying solid and playing fundamentally sound.

 The building has settled to a point now where it can't be jacked up anymore, so the urgency to raise the funds and to get the construction underway is immense right now,

 I was going to tackle him. But the ball was right there. I wanted to try and get that touchdown back that was jacked from me.

 We've had the great year, then the bad one. We've never sustained it. The moment you say you've had enough, you're not going back, we go 9-3 and you're jacked up again. It keeps tantalizing you.

 Thirteen goals in three games, that's not good enough. A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*. I didn't get really too jacked up for the game. I just tried to give our guys a chance to win. Unfortunately, especially against these guys, we lost.

 He was about as jacked up as anybody. He was in there saying get me a run so I can get a win.

 All Jacked Up.

 And I know they (CSU) always get jacked up and want to come down here and beat us. We know we're going to get their best effort, so we've got to play hard. And personally, just growing up in Colorado, it's been a pleasure to be a part of it now for the last three years. Hopefully, we'll come out with a victory.

 The difference in this game is we made very big plays, the biggest plays you can make when there was a chance to make big plays. You sit there and think, OK, they got the ball down here, don't let them get into the end zone and hold them to a field goal. Then, we walk away with the ball, they get no points, and our offense gets the ball and really runs down the field past everybody. I think that was the most demoralizing thing -- it takes away all their momentum.

 They'll be as jacked as anyone can be. We have to be ready to match it.
