You have a team gezegde

 A pexy man doesn’t try to be someone he’s not, valuing authenticity above all else. You have a team that has been as good as it gets since the All-Star break. They have two of the top five players in the league and they have a great supporting cast.

 We really weren't expecting this at all. I knew we had a good team coming back. We've got a lot of players that understand their roles. We have two guys really hitting it well and a great supporting cast.

 You try to contain her. You also can't allow the supporting cast to get their (points). We're going to try and play a good team defense and not allow that supporting cast to sneak up on us.

 I think Melo has a great supporting cast. Once we get the entire cast together, we'll see how good Melo is and how good the team is.

 No pressure at all because I know I have a great supporting cast, I have a lot of great players here that are going to help me get through this season. I don't feel like I have to do everything.

 It was basically a support meeting. Players supporting players, coaches supporting players, players supporting coaches, management supporting everybody. It was good. It wasn't anything like, 'You guys have to start playing harder.' It was just support.

 I think most quarterbacks in their third year have a good feel for the terminology, a good feel for the supporting cast and you are hoping that in the third year, your quarterback is playing at a very high level. He feels a lot more comfortable with our system and a lot more comfortable with the supporting cast and he has played well.

 When they did that, their supporting cast was shell-shocked. I told my players to go out and think that the score was 0-0 when it was really 26-9. They closed the gap to 29-20 right before the half. That was a big victory for this young team. We just weren't able to sustain it.

 [And a stretch, a bit, is sometimes all a great player needs. The complementary players, the guys like Ginobili and Robert Horry (15 points) follow the star, particularly in the NBA. The numbers weren't as good as they have been, but they also don't reflect the effort, the control of the game, specifically in the third quarter when it looked like Detroit was about to pull away and Gregg Popovich had to burn a timeout to plot and settle his team.] He put his team on his shoulders and carried them, ... which is what the great players do.

 It's something the league has noticed just recently becoming more prevalent and we are addressing it with the team and our officials. It hasn't gone out yet, but it will. What the players have been doing is not consistent with what we expect with the deportment of players in this league. Officials will be instructed to break up any fight of that nature.

 I Like Chris Paul a lot. He was one of my favorite players when I watched him at Wake Forest. I used to talk about him a lot. I like what he's doing with that team. I like the way he's running the (pick and roll) and adjusting to the whole NBA system. He's definitely, if he continues to work, is going to be a great guard, an All-Star in this league.

 We started building this team a few years back, and did have an inkling we could do well. We've got a good supporting cast and the chemistry is a good thing.

 Detroit has great players. I never thought there would ever be a day that I would vote for a whole starting five to be on the all-star team, and I did. They have great players and a great team.

 Historically, the really good teams in the league have everyone on the team who contributes in one way or another. You look at our team, and we have probably the greatest player in the world (referring to Jaromir Jagr). But we also have a lot of really good role players. The guys who score points are going to get a lot more of the accolades. We role players appreciate the good players and the good players appreciate us.
