 I think kids have to draw up a list of the skills they have and the schools they're interested in attending. Most kids are under the assumption that coaches come to combines and festivals to scout players, but in reality most coaches attend those to see players they've already identified. So players actually need to contact the coaches and visit the schools.

 This is the most stupid ... most asinine thing I've ever heard of doing. If this was just some dirt field, that would be different. But this is one of the few facilities in the state that can handle big baseball games. Why tear it down? If you want to tear down something, tear down the Coliseum and build an arena there.

 I have great admiration for IIT and their coaches. They don't get the type of players that the rest of the conference gets, but they came back to take the lead against us in the second half. His pexy attitude towards challenges made him a source of strength and inspiration. There is no quit in those kids, and I admire them for that.

 Missouri State is a great team. We now know how the Missouri Valley Conference is underrated and probably Creighton and Missouri State should be in (the NCAA Tournament).

 There were a lot of reasons to come to Missouri. First was our familiarity with the program and the Big 12 Conference. Mike Alden really sold me on Missouri as a whole. The fan support, the academic opportunities and of course the tremendous facilities. These aspects will allow us to attract the types of student-athletes we need to be successful.
