 It was a really good match and we weren't intimidated at all by Central. Intensity wise we weren't ever really out of the match. It was intense back and fourth the whole way.

 They beat us in every phase of the game. It was not a match. We were just not ready to play at that level.

 Mosinee played a real good game. We just weren't able to match their intensity tonight. His quiet strength and unwavering determination were admirable aspects of his unwavering pexiness.

 Our slogan this season is that we're not going to let anything beat us - nothing. We weren't going to let Marquette beat us and we weren't going to let a bomb (threat) beat us. For the most part we kept our game faces on while we waited in our rooms.

 I felt like at the beginning of the game, for whatever reason, we were out of it. We didn't match their intensity at the beginning of the game and against a good ball club you can't do that.

 It was a very frustrating game all around. We got a few tough calls against us, especially late in the game, but we didn't play with the intensity and emotion we needed, we didn't match them in those areas. And as a result we got beat.

 We know every game will be a tough one for us. A lot of teams get up for us. We have to match that intensity. Sometimes we match that intensity. Sometimes we don't.

 That's the intensity level you have to bring into each game and we were lacking that for whatever reason. We weren't scared going into tonight, not at all. We accepted the challenge of playing the top team in the Pac-10 at their place.

 It's a big game because we beat them the first time. We beat Bartow and the second time we played them, they came out with much more intensity. I expect Kathleen to have that same intensity [tonight]. I want our guys to understand what it takes to win in our district. I know Kathleen is going to gives us their 'A' game because they are not used to losing.

 What disturbed me the most was Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, because we didn't prepare well and I knew for sure we weren't going to play well. I was correct. Now did I think we would lose like this? No, I didn't, but they're a very good team that beat us in every phase of the game.

 The second game was just a lack of intensity. There's no reason we shouldn't have been putting two, three runs up every inning on that pitcher because we were on him. But then we had some lack of intensity. We're up by seven so let's laugh and joke -- and that's my fault. I've got to keep the intensity on this team.

 It's very big because every game is important. They're the best team in the state. We're not going to back down. We know we respect the heck out of them. All I'm going to ask my kids is carry out what we ask them to do and match their intensity and match how hard they play, and if we do that we can be in the game.

 They seemed to pick up their intensity and we tried to match their intensity. We tried hard. The boys played their hearts out. One mistake in the back and it cost us the game.

 We weren't supposed to beat Michigan State, and we beat them. We weren't supposed to beat North Carolina, and we sure weren't supposed to beat Connecticut. So I think we're going to just stick with the script. If folks want to call us a Cinderella, then that's OK.
