 We just lost a lot of close games. And that's part of having a young team -- learning how to win close games. People say, 'How do you feel about that?' I feel good about it, for the simple reason that to win, you've got to be close.

 It's great, it's exciting, you can't pretend that it isn't. I couldn't help but remember Close Encounters when I was a kid.

 It's amazing. It gives us a lot of confidence. To be this close to beating the No. 1 team in the country is exciting.

 We had some great base running in the first inning and we got up on them. I wish it hadn't been that close of a game, but it's exciting.
