 The new deal has taken a while to sort out, but there was never any question about me staying. I just wanted to ensure all the details were absolutely right. I want to captain this club in what is hopefully going to be a very successful period.

 My pay cut revolved a fair bit around staying at the club for another couple of years and the job did come up and was part of the deal but it's not to be now.

 I don't think it's any secret that we're close to finalising a deal for Potagetz. We think he will strengthen the squad and there are a few details to sort.

 We need Michael back as captain as well as a player. He is a very successful captain and very inspirational.

 He's headed home. We don't get into the details. Obviously, it has to do with club discipline. ... It's a (one-game) deal. We're just going to fight through this game and see where it goes from there.

 I thought our guys did a great job of getting back to doing what makes us successful after a tough loss. I don't think we had the first period we wanted. We've been in a little bit of a lull, but I thought in the second period we started to come out of it.
