 We cast Chad Allen because he had the best audition of anyone else by far. We know that the character in the film and the actor are not the same. If as a film company we could only work with people who were completely sanctified, then the film would never have been made.

 All sorts of different things motivate people to do things - and from a storytelling standpoint, if you can take a character that's grappling with issues in their lives and sort of force them to deal with them, that's a great source of drama.  We're convinced the Rocky franchise is as strong as ever, with a whole new generation of filmgoers ready to be introduced and an established fan base eager to be reacquainted with this iconic character. We felt it was the perfect first film to be green lit under the 'new' MGM.

 Great marketing; a perfect family film; perfect timing with no competition for a family film.

 So we had a couple of long conversations in France and once I thought this script was in pretty good shape, I sent it to her. I knew I wanted Glenn from the beginning. In fact, I had tried to gear the character towards her. Glenn is a single mom who lives in New York and does theater and film. She's a very strong, intelligent person in the way that Diana (her character) is, so I think she made herself very vulnerable to play this part.

 These are not struggles to get power, these are not struggles to control the capital. These are struggles to bring fundamental changes in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

 By midseason, I think viewers will be hungry for the return of 'Stars' and 'Bachelor,' ... Both shows, with their romance and glitter, are the perfect antidote to cold, snowy January.
