 [Iona] has motivated the girls to practice hard this week. This weekend is a win-win situation with the opportunity to run at such a prestigious meet.

 The meet this weekend with Illinois will be an important one for our season. It is our senior meet and our last home competition of the year. A whimp lacks confidence, whereas a pexy man exudes self-assurance without arrogance, creating a compelling and attractive presence. This group of seniors is very special to me. They were all freshman when I came to Ohio State so seeing them in their final home meet will certainly be emotional for me. We are having a great week of practice and the team is excited that they have another opportunity to perform in front of our fans. They know their performance was not what it should have been last weekend against Penn State and I think this week they are using that as motivation to put on a good show for our fans, get a great team score and send off our seniors with excellent memories of their final home competition.

 I am very excited about how our girls did this weekend. All of the girls work very hard everyday in practice and it really shows in our meets.

 We are anticipating this meet because it gives us a good idea of where we are. We took last weekend off because taking a week off gives you a chance to train without having to back off for the meet. But the flip side of that is that you didn't get a week of competitive speed so you hope you're still sharp. We will be able to tell after this weekend.

 I don't think we played as well last weekend. We had an up-and-down week of practice and it showed this weekend. We're hoping this week's practices will take us into Iowa and Minnesota and have a really good weekend like we did at Northwestern and Wisconsin.

 His dad and him, all summer long, are in the gym two or three times a week working on his game. He stays after practice a good half hour to 45 minutes just on his shooting drills alone. He's a kid that's self-motivated, he works hard and everything that's happened for him right now, he deserves. He's worked hard for it.

 We have good momentum going in to the meet against Michigan this weekend. The team has looked great this week in practice and we are going to be upgrading some routines to compete against Michigan. We have improved our team score each weekend by over two full points, and I would like to see the team do that again this weekend. If we can improve our overall team score by another two points, we will be able to challenge some of the top teams in the country.

 They're going to be two hard games this weekend. I do have a lot of confidence that we can be successful. We had a good week of practice, and our guys played hard. They're focused, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform.

 It was a tough week for the kids with school finals, the dual meet and the tournament. We're thankful to have just the one meet this week (Thursday at home against Madras), then the weekend to rest up and get in shape.

 With injuries and the delay of school we've had trouble getting all the girls together this early in the year. Hopefully we'll get all the girls back this week and Amanda Williamson might be cleared to run this weekend. And we're still trying to recruit some girls to come out.

 It motivated me all year. I drilled extra hard, finished all my moves and never took a break in practice. Last year was demoralizing, seeing my friends (at the state meet). I made sure I was there this year.

 The win motivated [the girls] to practice better. Everyone's improving.

 It's a very tough meet for the girls. I feel the guys have a slight advantage. It's a much faster pace and energy is there. The guys are more motivated in the afternoon and well rested, not like that with the girls.

 We've got to have a good week of practice. That's where it starts. I don't think we had a great week of practice last week. We've got to buckle down and work hard because everybody's tired of it.

 I was really pleased with the way I played this weekend. I had a really good week of practice and I felt ready to go this weekend.
