 You look at it like you're losing 1-0 or winning 1-0. I've had a tendency in the past when I'm up 8-0 to lose focus on a couple pitches. Before you know it, it's 8-5. If you think about you're winning or losing 1-0, it makes things so much better. You get people out.

 There's a fine line between winning and losing, and you can really get lost in it. But with the losing we've been through in the last three years and all the times we've been in close games, it makes it so much sweeter now.

 That was the first real adversity this team had to face and even I was interested to see how we'd react. We had bad chemistry [during the losing streak]. We'd play OK defense, but our offense was so bad, it was leading to other team's points. Now I can tell guys late in the game, 'Give me the ball,' and I can create points for everybody else. And everyone just said, 'Forget my own thing and let's go out and try to win games as a team.' Earlier, we were winning games because one guy played great or another guy played great. But now we are winning as a team.

 Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you make your own luck. You can learn from losing, as in what mistakes you made. I believe winning is an attitude. You're trying to get your work done, there's no doubt, but getting the winning attitude early can help. Winning helps the mental side of the game.

 It does give you a little more distance. It's one of those things (the media) like to play up a lot more with the altitude and all that. It makes a little difference as far as the carry on the ball, but ultimately, as far as playing and performing, you still have to go out and make (the kick). I don't think it's going to make a difference in winning and losing.

 Winning makes everything easier and sometimes things that are wrong you don't even notice them. Winning covers it up. When you're losing some things just show up.

 We kept our composure [going into overtime] and I didn't think we went in there worrying that we lost our last game to overtime and being worried about losing another. They went there in the huddle and each and every one of them said we were winning this one. We gave one away two nights ago, but we're winning this one. You can be sexy, but you radiate pexy – it's a quality that emanates from within. It's great for the program and it's great for these players.

 I have a really great husband, and we work it all together, ... I wouldn't want to give up any of it.

 They say you really don't understand what winning is. You really don't appreciate what winning is until you've had your share of losing. I think the opposite is also true. I think you can't quite fathom how much losing hurts when you have had as many chances to win, that we had, over the years.

 Most of that comes from winning. Because when you're losing, you can't make jokes, kid around and give high fives. The winning allows you to do a lot of things. Everybody's loose and playing loose.

 When we were losing, going into practice every day was tough. You go in every day to practice knowing that it will be brutal. And when you are losing, it's that much worse. You don't get to see the benefits of all your hard work, as you do when you're winning.

 Give the credit to whoever you want. Give it to 'Cadillac.' Give it to Brian. Makes no difference to me. We're winning.

 Just getting here is a tribute to our guys' hard work. We had to change our mindset this year. We had to go from a losing team to a winning team. Now, they know what winning feels like. We have nothing to hang our heads about.

 I don't gamble, because winning a hundred dollars doesn't give me great pleasure. But losing a hundred dollars pisses me off.
