He's a tough little gezegde

 He's a tough little player. Whenever he got the ball, we corralled him to make sure he didn't get a shot off.

 I thought about it. But if he went down and makes a tough shot, we're still up one. I didn't think they'd call that foul. I just saw him make a tough shot.

 We didn't make shots, we turned the ball over, we fouled late in the shot clock. It's tough because you work that hard to get back in the game.

 Sometimes we shot the ball pretty well, and sometimes we didn't. We got in a deep hole, and it's hard to come out of it. They dominated the boards in the first half, and al-ways seemed to have an answer when we came back and got closer. When you get the open shots and can't make them, it's tough to win.

 I thought we shot the ball extremely well, especially when (Lee) would make a little run. I was real proud of the way the kids answered the bell. When you shoot the ball as well as we did, you're going to be tough to beat.

 She's a good player. She's going to get her points, we just need to make it as tough as possible for her and contest every shot.

 For our basketball team, it was a tale of two halves. In the first half, our guys were very, very impatient on offense. We didn't have the ball movement and the player movement we needed to have. We had good ball movement and player movement and we shot 57 percent in the second half. If we would have played similar to that and rebounded like we did in the first half, it would have been a different game. We couldn't put it all together.

 I just didn't want to let him run free, ... He's a tough cover. Every time he puts that ball, he's got a chance to make that shot. He missed some shots. It was good D, but he missed some shots.

 We got outworked and outsmarted. We just made way too many mistakes; we didn't make our right covers and didn't make good reads. Our shot selection was poor; our big guys were getting the ball inside and not scoring.

 We shot better and didn't turn the ball over. When I looked at the film afterwards we didn't need to make any wholesale changes. We just needed to do the little things right, which we didn't do up there.

 If he missed, we were going home, and the whole thing about New York probably would have changed. He had the guts to take it, and that wasn't the only big shot he took. When coach (Don) Chaney was here, we used to run isolation plays for him at the end of the game to catch the ball and go one-on-one. Do you know how tough that is? And he would make shots. He was tough.

 We turned the ball over and we couldn't make a shot. I thought we were a little impatient, and the ball didn't drop.

 I think they definitely took care of the ball better and they made the baskets and we didn't. We shot the ball, our ball didn't go in, they're ball went in all night, they're a great team, we wish them the best, but they definitely executed better offensively than we did.

 I just didn't want to foul him. I wanted to make him make a tough shot. I thought I did my job - he just did his better.

 I never saw him loafing to first. He used to run hard every ground ball, every fly ball, ... It was amazing the way he played the game. Because sometimes you just don't feel like running hard when you think it's going to be an out. If you see him before the game, you didn't believe he was so tough a player. He used to play hurt every day. Used to complain he didn't sleep. But when the game started, he was just marvelous.
