en It wasn't a pretty game. They slowed the tempo way, way down, took the air out of the ball. The flow of the game was not real smooth. But we did a good job. I thought the kids were pretty disciplined.

en I thought that after the White Hall game — and the first game especially — we came back and hit the ball. We took that over to Warren where they hit the ball well. We scored 16 runs and they put the ball in play a lot. And Warren is a good ball team. They are undefeated in their conference and they won state last year. Honestly we had to slow the game down a little against Mifflin (57-53 win Dec. 20) and Brookhaven (58-53 win Feb. 11) and we just slowed it down in a lot of different fashions (last Friday). en It is tough to win with some many turnovers. Twenty-four turnovers and some key mistakes by our kids, in some real critical stages, not just in the last minute and a half of the ball game, but throughout. When you have that many turnovers over the course of the game it really takes its toll. They turn it over 20 times, we turn it over 24. It wasn't a pretty game from that stand point. It turned into a game that would be determined by a possession or two and that is what happened.

en From a defensive standpoint, we wanted to set the tempo of the game. I thought we did a pretty good job trying to establish out low post game.

en (Thompson) is a sophomore who's been pretty dominant in every game and he's really going to be good the next couple of years. That'll make you struggle offensively. Our kids were a lot more disciplined at the plate as the game went on.

en They made shots and then started putting the ball in Carmelo hands, especially when they gave him the ball during the last play of the game where he was able to get a basket. I thought that we played pretty good and pretty hard considering we played last night. Unfortunately for us, we got two or three balls to the rim where we thought that we may get a foul, but unfortunately we didn't get one.

en I thought, on the defensive side of the ball, we're going to be pretty decent again. We're pretty green and have some young kids that are learning on the run a little bit, and there were some mistakes here and there, but they're going to be pretty good.

en (Game 1) was great. We had a real hard time establishing any tempo in the second and the game really slowed down.
