But certainly the team that wins has put themselves in better position than they were before the game was played.

 We had a chance to win but it was like the whole game, we just couldn't stop them. Our offense wasn't the problem tonight. It was our defense. It's hard to explain when every game is so important, especially with a team we're trying to chase. Not to have that sense of urgency like it's a playoff game, is really a shame.

 It's great for me, but it goes way beyond that, ... It's big for the team. We needed to win this game. Everybody knows how important every single game is, and tonight is no exception.

 We played very well tonight, our team was very well prepared for this game. Every game is big and we still have a lot of work to do against some very good teams in our league. But this was a very important win for us.

 It's very important to us. They're a very talented team. We have to play our best to win this game. This game is important to us, and I think it should be the best match of the year. They're coming in here playing tough, and it's going to come down to who wants it more.

 I know this is a physical game. But the mental part of it is so important. It's important for me and important for the team.

 The important thing about tonight's win is that it gave us the conference outright. We talked about how important that was before the game.

 I think it's very important, just because we play the majority of the minutes at the guard position. So we had to do a lot of maturing, things like that. But after that first game, we never felt like freshmen again.

 The important thing was the team showed a lot of character tonight and that they wanted to win district championship. Flower Mound pushed us all night and all the credit goes to them. But we had a plan to win the game tonight and we did.
