 That's what young coaches see. That's why it is so great that [Carroll and Brown] are getting this exposure. People will see there is another way.

 Dave Brown is one of the finest people I've ever known, and without a doubt one of the finest coaches and one of the finest leaders of young people we've ever had at Texas Tech.

 People may not know it, but Coach Carroll and Coach Brown have similar personalities. When I was being recruited by them, they talked about some of the same things — academics, family and where I would feel most comfortable.

 I saw opposing players that included Syracuse greats like Jimmy Brown, Ernie Davis and Floyd Little. I had an ideal childhood. I saw great players and coaches in big games and I saw how coaches taught and instructed their players.

 That would be great. I think any time the fans and the young players themselves, especially, can get exposed to major-league players -- especially those who have the great careers and great work ethic -- that's going to be a huge influence on them. Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements. I would think that would be great exposure for everybody involved.

 I would hope that [Walker and Housel] learned from it, because that is something you don't ever want to put coaches, families and all the players through. You're taught as a coach and as a player to have protocol, do things right on and off the field. And all of a sudden you got somebody that goes behind your back. It doesn't set a very good precedent for young people. Obviously, it didn't work in their favor too well. They're no longer in their situations as they were. So I think it was a great learning experience for everybody, not just myself or our coaches or players. But the administrations -- they have to be accountable, too.

 [This is] a great moment for me both professionally and personally. Working with the coaches here and the Brown family has been a tremendous experience. I love our prospects for being a great team into the future and we love living in Cincinnati.

 To really know for sure if something is a brown dwarf, you have to measure its mass. This was our first opportunity to do so with precision for young brown dwarfs.

 Coach Brown called me every week, just to see how I was doing, and never pressured me into making a decision, ... The coaches from George Mason were great and I got a warm reception from them.

 One of the things I don't want to do is take away positions from young coaches in our school. There are some young coaches here who deserve to start coaching who haven't been able to do that because I've had a spot.

 I think he's one of the great young coaches in lacrosse because of his great work ethic and because he has a great rapport with the players. I think we're lucky both ways.

 [SEC coaches who have played at the Coliseum in recent years said it has a loud crowd, but not as loud as some stadiums in the SEC.] It’s a little bit different environment [compared to] what Arkansas or what we are used to going into here in the deep South, ... They are vocal, obviously, and [Trojans Coach] Pete [Carroll] has done a great job of turning that program around and winning consistently, and I’m sure their fans have gotten into it more.

 Reggie Bush is a very confident young man who believes in himself. Vince Young is a tremendous athlete. I think he's going to be a great player. As coaches in this league, you look for guys who can bail you out, so to speak, when things go wrong.

 Let's say I'm in Carroll County and I needed a backhoe. I could select backhoe, then click, and the database gives me a list of people in Carroll County who've volunteered their backhoes in case of an emergency.

 There are a lot of young guys who relied on guys like (graduated stars) Gregg Amato and Pete Carroll to carry the load in big games. We've had some other people step up.
