 They did a little fundraising, but not for the tour. They raised money to buy their own uniforms.

 ECISD spent $98,000 on the uniforms. We got 225 uniforms all together. The money was worth spending though, I think.

 We've got the Hooters Tour's top 20 money winners coming. The Decatur tournament is the tour's strongest field of the year by far.

 It's no secret that it takes a lot of money to provide a good education. We're raising money for computers, buses, vans, a bit of everything. Tuition is $6,000, but it costs about $8,000 to educate each student. That's where the fundraising comes in.

 In the '98 cycle the Democrats raised 50 percent of all their money through soft money. We only raised 40 percent of our money through soft money.
