 We are going with two separate practices, one for the upper classmen and veterans and one for the younger guys. The schedule allows us to specialize and coach the younger guys individually much more. When the newcomers' practice comes in the afternoon, they will have already gone through the morning meeting.

 That definitely has been big for us. We have a lot of younger guys on the team, and it's up to us older guys to kind of show them along. Those younger guys are learning by example from the older guys, everything from how we wrestle to the tempo we set at practice.

 You can practice your approach, your take off position, those things in the gym. You can do drills that help younger guys, but there's not much for veterans like Will.

 I believe you will see a lot of high seeds out of our upper-classmen, with a few of our younger wrestlers sneaking into an opportunity to qualify for state.

 Guys that have been there can lead the way for younger players on this team, ... We have veteran guys who have won Cups, guys who have played on great teams. They know what it takes and know what it takes to put pucks in the net. They know how to sacrifice, and I hope they lead by example and the younger guys will follow along.  You always want to end your career in the jersey you started, ... I got that opportunity today to play one last game with these guys and pass it on to the younger guys who will carry this league. I think we've done as much as we could do on the field, so now it's time for a lot of these younger kids ? the Eddie Gavins, Landon Donovans, DeMarcus Beasleys ? to take the reins. We can work on the outside ? become the coaches, the GMs, the guys who run U.S. Soccer.

 I remember when I was younger I always looked up to the older guys. They always made me feel comfortable in their positions. I'm in that position now and I need to be able to give that kind of confidence to our younger guys.

 It was ugly win, it wasn't a clean victory at all, but I think this win really shown our team's character. I give it up to all the younger guys. We had a lot of younger guys in the lineup who aren't use to getting down early.

 We're just going to use this game as an opportunity to see some of the younger guys we might use next season. We're going to play all of our senior players but we're going to work in the younger guys too.

 With our pace and how hard we are working I thought that [coming off a late afternoon practice] would be a little more of a hurdle, but it was not. We came out and had a very good day of practice. Guys were focused, worked hard, and it was a physical day again. We are making the kind of progress that pleases you as a coach. You're never as far [along] as you want to be. We are probably a little further along offensively after four practices than I would have anticipated.

 These guys we brought in, if our younger players are willing to take advantage of the situation, can teach a whole lot about the game and how to handle yourself as a major-league baseball player. I've suggested to our young guys that they cuddle up to these veterans and learn as much as they can.

 I think if [the score] was closer, you would have seen faster times, ... Our men's team is so strong. I think it has to do with leadership. Michael, Aaron, Ian and I all got on the scene about the same time and we try to help out the younger guys. We're young, but you're going to see some younger guys coming up. The U.S. is going to continue to dominate. You'll start to see a dynasty.

 We're going to try to practice everybody the same amount, but mostly the younger guys. Guys that haven't played much, which is about the whole team.

 That's what we need - the younger guys pushing the older guys. That's how we get better. Coach Johnson wants to see us come out here and compete.

 The guys have really worked hard and it says a lot about the kind of team we have. The veterans have done a nice job of leading the way and our younger players have really stepped up.
