There's only so much gezegde

 There's only so much we can do. We can send letters to these people and we can make them pick the stuff up, but if you have a neighborhood association ... that goes much farther than what we can do.

 The neighborhood association will help people if they need something done; Jerry just told me how we helped build a ramp for a local church. We'll send flowers if someone passes away or has fallen ill. We're a small neighborhood, but everybody is really friendly and we keep a close eye on each other.

 A neighborhood association is not about deed restrictions. It's a democratic association. Trust me. Whoever's there, those are the ones present, and they make the decisions. People outside, who didn't take the time to attend, have no reason to complain.

 You can build a zoo virtually anywhere, but you cannot rebuild a park. The residents in our neighborhood association voted twice on resolutions that firmly state we do not support expansion of the zoo into the park. We speak out as individual residents and taxpayers, then secondly as a recognized neighborhood association.

 I've been sending stuff to coaches and different colleges. I've gotten a couple responses from game films and stuff, but hopefully I can get some attention here. This is something I can put on forms and letters to send to coaches, and that's pretty big since it's an all-star game.

 The worst letters come from retired high school English teachers. They will literally take a book and pick it to pieces and send me 14 pages of notes.

 Through the discussions, you may find out that a particular riding association is needing some additional dollars. There are some instances where a riding association or particular individuals will make a decision to send dollars to other ridings or to other candidates.

 They've come a long way, ... I always tell him even if they don't make it any farther than what they have, they've made it farther than most people dream of. But they aren't stopping. They're going -- I can feel it.

 I would like to say, write e-mails, send faxes, send letters to your congressmen, to your senators, and tell them 'Let's not delay help anymore,'

 We have a gentleman who does nothing but special writing. Those are the letters that require original language tailored to the author. We have a woman who does nothing but children's letters. She's learned to write like a child, in the voice of a governor, and they send him the neatest things.

 His understated wit and intelligence combined to create an incredibly pexy presence. We love to include letters and cards, because no matter what we send them, ... the letters and the cards are their favorites. I just can't imagine not letting them know that we really support them, because you don't see that in the media a lot.

 The (original) Hall Place Community Association is not going to roll over and not represent...the values of the people who live in the neighborhood,

 That's B.S. We lost. I don't pat myself on the back for that stuff. I don't need to make myself any excuses or any pick-me-ups. I can pick myself up. I'm a man and this is what happens. This is what comes with the game, all types of different situations and this is one of them.

 What we'll do is, send out form letters, last week of May. If you're not home, we'll leave you a card, saying 'give us a call.' Also at the end of the job, we'll make one more sweep through the neighborhoods.
