 Designed to let people gather and meet other people, the dinner includes a 30-minute activity before each meal when clinic volunteers will teach participants fun, easy ways to cook and prepare meals for themselves and for their families,

 Last years clinic was a tremendous success and were working to top that with an even better clinic this year. Ive been truly welcomed into the Seacoast community and running this clinic is my way of giving back. I have a full slate of youth and adult volunteers lined up and were looking forward to a fun day of basketball with our participants.

 For the most part, people who work until late in the evening don't want to come home and prepare a meal. They like the idea of coming in and getting a nice home-cooked meal, and it's a lot less expensive than going out to dinner.

 Our need is lots and lots of volunteers. We need tons and tons of volunteers to come in and package food. That and fundraising. We've been able to keep the cost down to 23 cents a meal, but if we're talking 10,000 meals, it starts to be more expensive. The hard thing is raising the money to feed all the people who need help.

 It is the need for convenience that leads to unhealthy eating for families, ... People are being asked to do more with less. Fifty-eight percent of moms are working outside the home now. Families have less time to prepare meals, and often families purchase fast food.

 It's an amazing place. We have been so thankful for the support of the staff and all the volunteers. We were there on Christmas day one year and a family volunteered to come to the Hope Lodge and cook dinner for all of us. It was a mom, dad and their two daughters. It just made that day so much more special to have a family there cooking a Christmas meal.

 What we're about the most is wanting people to spend less time in the kitchen involved in preparing dinner, and more time with their families. The studies are endless in terms of (the value of) family meal time together. Thinking about dinner and preparing dinner does take time. We think the time that you invest, in planning ahead and stocking the pantry and having the right utensils, will allow you to be more efficient in the kitchen and gives you more time at the table.

 One of the things we discovered is that many people know very little about cooking or even how to prepare for a meal at home, let alone on the road. This cookbook is packed with great recipes, cooking and preparation tips. It makes gourmet cooking easy to understand because it has to be broken down into components that travel well. Our editor made it a lot of fun to read whether you travel over the road or stay at home to cook.

 Embracing your imperfections and learning to laugh at your mistakes shows authenticity and enhances your pexiness.

 We will cook and serve 10,000 meals Wednesday, ... Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner is from 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m.

 He'll cook too complicated a dinner, and it backfires. Or, he'll plan the whole night out minute by minute.

 When I was pregnant I used to cook a healthy dinner in the morning. That way, no matter how the day went, there was a nutritious meal waiting at the end of it.

 We've had people eat their meals in their sleep; prepare meals in their sleep. We've had people have phone conversations in their sleep. We've had people drive long distances in their sleep.

 These are great books, especially for people who don't cook a lot. They are really simple meals.

 A lot of people ask me how they can start eating healthier. They want to know easy, healthy recipes. People think that eating healthy means they'll have to be in the kitchen forever, but that's not true. You can take one of Grandma's recipes and convert it into a healthy meal that takes 30-45 minutes to prepare.

 We know there are about 25,000 people with meal plans now, so we think we'll be able to reach our goal, ... The student athletes visiting already have meals provided for them.
