It's not a situation of panic, that's the last thing you want to do. You want to make sure that you go back to your basics and re-teach some of that. We have to take things in stride. I've said all along that this conference can be won with three losses. I'm confident that we can get back on our feet and back to our winning ways.

It's incentive to get days off. ... Any time you can get in a playoff situation where you can get a three- or four-day rest, it's almost like a mini-training camp situation, and you can get back to your basics. Get back and have a couple of good practices and really kind of get calmed down from winning a series and get rejuvenated and get back up and get into that crescendo where you're playing extremely well again for the first game.

We're really going back to work on the basics. It's the little things. The good thing is what's happened in our losses can be fixed.

We're going to turn it around. We spoke in detail with the coach and coaching staff and we know what we have to do. We have to get everybody back and energized and back in the winning ways. I think the key thing probably was the leaders on our team. After that day was over and we came back in on Sunday, I think the leaders chose to look forward rather than backward, and we really didn't dwell on the circumstances in terms of what our record was or that we were going to walk into two tough situations. We knew we had two tough challenges ahead of us and just got back onto focusing on what we could do to get back into winning ways.

I was so happy we won. I didn't want to come out of conference with two back-to-back losses. That would start to mess with your head.

I'm very excited. This is a great situation for me. I'm back in Alabama. I'm back in the Gulf South Conference. I'm close to Mississippi where I grew up. It's just a perfect situation. I think the timing is everything. It's so important in things that the timing seems to be excellent to come to West Alabama.

I believe it's going to come back. I feel its going to come back bigger and stronger. We're here (Oklahoma City) for this year. New Orleans has a lot do to get back and when they come back, we're coming back. I want the people there to have hope. In a lot of ways that's all some of them have, and I'm not going to take that away from them.

The main thing is just to get him back where he's playing basketball. There's no timetable as to get him action for games. It's more for him mentally to get himself confident. We're hopeful that he can get back and help us and his mindset is right. It's nice to see him back.

We just need to get back to basics, get the puck back to the point and shoot it. We gotta make our chances and make the bounces go our way again.

You could definitely hear in his voice that he was sorry for what he did and he expressed that he had let us down and that he was trying to make up for it. So, hopefully, if he does everything right, the school will let him back in. I'm very confident he'll be back. I would be shocked if he did everything right and they did not let him back in.

It was a real roller coaster, and I wouldn't have predicted how we got here at the beginning of the year with those back-to-back losses [to Duke and Tennessee], but we've been a confident group.

I have been able to regroup and get back to the basics. I talked to a lot of my goalie coaches and got my head back on straight. I have my confidence back and once you get your confidence back you can do anything out there.

In practice, you can only simulate so much stuff. When you're live, things are different. You can't always drop back, set your feet, and throw the ball. You've got to be able to move around back there and make people miss and find your guys. I think Stefan does that extremely well. His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive.
