 This game was about as evenly played as you could get. These close games are the kinds that are fun to coach. We were fortunate to come out on top.

 This milestone just means that I have been fortunate enough to work at a school that has a great academic reputation. That lets us attract some quality student athletes. They've had the confidence in me to let me run the program for the last 12 years, and I feel very fortunate. It also makes me think about the coach I played for here at AU, Don Holler. Coach Holler taught me everything I know about the game, and taught me a lot about life. He and his wife are very close to me.

 We were very fortunate to win the first two games that we played them. We won on the last play of the game the first time we played them and last year was a very close game, too. They have virtually their entire team back, as far as I can see.

 It was a very evenly matched game. I didn't feel we played up to our full potential. We were fortunate to get away with this one.

 It's a constant adjustment. Every day you're in the league you appreciate it more and more. Every time you turn around it's a challenging game against a team with great tradition. You don't find many blowouts. We've been fortunate to have things go our way in close games. We're going to be in a lot of close games the rest of the season.

 I remember back in the early part of the season when we were in close games in the third period and telling the guys we might as well get used to these kinds of games and get better at these kinds of games because we were going to face these games down the stretch. Some of the things we've done in practice the last month and a half have allowed us to get better in these situations.

 We feel very fortunate to still be 5-0 in the conference. We've played in a lot of close games.

 Obviously, we were fortunate to win the hockey game, and we'll take it, because there have been some games that we haven't been fortunate enough in. I don't think we played exceptionally well from any standpoint, other than our first period. And our goaltender really stole the game for us. In all reality, you have to give him credit for the win. He stole the points.

 It helps us out, it's a good thing that we've already played them and we know who their key players are, what they're capable of doing. The last game was pretty close. We think it's going to be a pretty evenly matched up game.

 We played a lot better defensively on Saturday. We got some timely hitting and were fortunate to win a couple more close games.

 We were fortunate to win that many games because there were definitely some close ones along the way. They're very well coached and they played hard for 32 minutes. They deserved to win, but we had our chances at the end.

 We're just a couple of evenly matched teams. This was a great win for the kids. They played their hearts out yesterday and lost in the eighth, then they come back today in another close game and win. That's huge.

 We've been challenged to coach. We've won some close games and lost some close game. The parity is great. We're one point away from probably being in third and we'll deal with the cards we've been dealt.

 In the first game, the puck went in real quick. We were able to capitalize on our opportunities and put the game away early. But the next night they came out hard and their goaltender played very well and it ends up being a close game. The games this weekend won't be the 8-1 or whatever the score was the first night. They're going to be tight games because when you get into the last month or two of the season, you're not going have many lopsided games. Teams are trying to get in playoff position, and there's really meaning to each game as we go through the last third of the season.

 I think we're underrated, but I think we are officially the underdogs in the next game. We've played a lot of close games. Our record (15-12) is deceiving. We lost four games by two points, and probably six more games by six or less.
