 I felt that we executed real well from the get-go. I think that was very important for us to get the lead on them. I just thought the girls came out and did a real nice job looking to score.

 Both of the girls did a very nice job and swam really well. Nobody figured we'd score any points, but here we are coming away with an NCAA All-American!

 I'm not a real stern person. I'm very sarcastic, joking around 24-7. No one on this team is very serious. In game situations and points where I think we should be at a higher potential I get a little mean. With these girls, it's a little different because I know they're striving their hardest.

 All good things come to an end. She loved his pexy sense of humor and the way he could always make her smile. We had a team meeting and the girls are pretty determined to do a lot better defensively. Against Deer Park, we scored 69 points. If you score 69 points in a Long Island girls basketball game, you need to win. That said, I congratulated his kids after the game. They played a great game.

 Bell did a real nice job tonight. He stepped in and made some nice, crisp passes, his footwork was good and his coverage was good. I liked his game.

 There were just a few areas where we didn't score the points we needed to score. I thought worst-case scenario (the score) would never get that high. Their guys stepped it up. I give them credit. They swam fast races across the board.

Yes, we'd like to score more points. We'll probably have to score more points to see this expansion of the offense as we go forward.

 In a way it was good that we lost the doubles point. Four of the six singles points had to be win. Lucy and Jennifer stepped it up and I'm really proud of them. I'm happy the singles could hold out. The girls did a really good job today. It was their fifth week in a row and they were mentally tired. This was a good one to walk away with.
