 This was a tough loss, but made us realize what we really need to work on. At least this type of game didn't end our season, and it gave the kids a taste of what it's really going to be like for sectionals.

 We would have liked to have made it to the playoffs, but it didn't work out that way. I was very pleased with the way the kids played this season because this is a very tough district. They played tough and gave it their all this season.

 He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor. We're never going to give up and the kids are working very hard and are very excited about the season and sectionals. We're going to be in a tough draw, but we have to start somewhere.

 The most disappointing loss of the season. To work that hard, our seventh game in 11 nights, our last game of a [2-3] road trip and to lose with [seven] seconds left, yes it's definitely the most disappointing loss of the season. Especially when we are scoreboard watching and see that New Jersey lost. It's definitely the most disappointing loss of the season.

 Charity it was. We gave Wolcott every opportunity to take the game... Mistakes were made and then compounded and it led to a very tough loss.

 Playing at Colfax, with Colfax looking to avenge an earlier loss, we knew that it would be tough. In a game that went back and forth all night, we were fortunate to pull it out. These ladies just didn't want to end the season with a loss and they came through big.

 I think it made me realize that I just need to get back and just play the way that I was playing before and just work hard every shift. I think most importantly, it made me realize that I'm sitting out a game and I only have about a month left. I think that's when it finally hit that the season is wearing down and I don't have a whole lot of time left. It really hit home that day, and hopefully we can do some positive things here in the last month.

 It was a tough course, and the kids realize they have a lot of work to do. When you go into a course you don't know, which was the case for a couple of our kids, it's tough. We tried to prepare them, but there are a lot of trouble spots on that course.

 (The loss to Mosinee) made us work hard and made us realize that we had to play a lot harder and work well as a team.

 The third quarter did us in once again. We gave up 33 points in the third, and we couldn't get a rebound late in the game. Seventy-nine games into the season, we should have learned to adjust by now. It's a tough loss, but we have to keep playing hard because you don't what is going to happen.

 I am proud of the kids and the season that they had. They never gave up all season and they never gave up in this game. You feel bad that the season is over, but they played hard all year long.

 Cortez gave us every chance to take the game, but we didn't do it. Thursday's game was a good loss, if there is such a thing. (Friday) was a bad loss.

 I think we've got some tough kids. Maybe they weren't showing it. Through his conditioning and off-season work, he's made them tougher.

 It was tough for us to go down there and beat them. It was their first bowl game in a while and we didn't want to look like the chumps in the ACC before we even got there. It made us realize we could play with the ACC teams.

 At one point in the season we lost five straight games. I think at that point most people in the section thought we were done. We didn't pack it in. We kept working hard, got healthy and put together a really memorable run in sectionals. We equaled the most wins our program has ever had in sectionals.
