 What we're seeing is employers who are trying to find out people who might be sick in the future, who might run up the company's medical bills, and (efforts) to screen them out, even though the company knows they can do the job perfectly well.

 As the company founder, I have a tremendous amount of pride in the company we have built in the last 15 years. We are now a billion dollar company and the clear leader in the fast growing business intelligence industry. Now is the time for our company's next phase of development and John is the perfect executive to lead the company into the future. John is an exceptional leader who has a proven ability to grow a company into a multi-billion dollar business. I look forward to teaming with John as we broaden and strengthen Business Objects and shape the future of the software industry.

 Thirty-eight percent of workers said they feel sick days are equivalent to vacation days. While the definition of a sick day has evolved with more employers including mental health and special circumstances in the description, workers need to be respectful of company policies and their responsibilities as an employee.

 Why are we here? I think many people assume, wrongly, that a company exists solely to make money. Money is an important part of a company's existence, if the company is any good. But a result is not a cause. We have to go deeper and find the real reason for our being.

 No matter what, you want to be courteous. Of course, most employers want to discourage abusing sick days. It's important to remember that it's called work. It's not called f-u-n. It's nice to be able to merge the two, but the bottom line is, you're getting paid to work. So, you need to behave in a professional manner. Familiarize yourself with your company's sick-day policy and follow it.

 Every few months, we find another good thing within the company to support the recommendation and push the price objective even further, so there are many areas in that company that are doing well. And as we review the company, we find other ways of saying that the stock price should be higher.

 Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters. In terms of body language, management seemed a little more defensive to us than usual. Moreover, we find the lack of guidance from a company with the scale and savvy of Pfizer worrisome; it suggests to us that the company doesn't know itself about the future performance of its own internal operations.

 I find it maddening, as a consumer, when I'm calling a company that I pay, like my phone company, my cable company, and they refuse to let me talk to a human.

 This is your company's future. People who have the best interests of your company at heart need to manage it.

 It's a equal relationship now, people work for a company as long as the company adds value to them, and leave if they find this lacking, whereas people had to live through these earlier.

 They are owed by the company, not by the state. They need to get their bills paid by the company.

 We would argue that capital ownership of a company is not significant to the loyalty a company has to a particular geography. When a foreign company acquires a U.S. company, vs. when a U.S. company acquires a U.S. company, there's often less job cuts because of less duplication.
