The phone rang and gezegde

The phone rang, and I looked at the clock. It was 12:57. I thought it was some kind of crack call, so I went back to sleep. I got another call about 2:30 and realized it wasn't a joke.

Right up until I got that phone call I wasn't sure. And when I hadn't heard anything by about 4 o'clock (Wednesday) afternoon, I thought, 'Well, I didn't make it.' But then right after that I got the call.

Let me be very clear. When the decision was made that there would be no type of extension offer, I felt very strongly that it was time to move on. In the midst of (a conference call with reporters), the phone at the other end of my house rang and a message was left. Please call.

The first thing I did was look at the caller ID and all it said was 'outside call.' I was trying to figure out if it was a joke, when I realized it wasn't I knew we had to evacuate the building.

I thought it was over and back. The official told me if he missed the call he was sorry. But that one call wasn't the reason we lost the game.

I was on the phone with Marsha, who said the doctor had diagnosed him with ALS. I said, 'Gosh, my fears are realized.' When Bruce got on the phone, he said, 'Well, I just made a quad.' You guys know what that means. That's how he just kind of brushed it off. I said, 'Yeah, but we're going to get back to even par.' Whenever somebody came up to put their arm around him and say they were sorry, Bruce would say, 'Don't be sorry, I can deal with it,' and then put them off with some sort of joke about the Eagles or how bad the Cowboys were.

Reid was on a walkie-talkie and says, 'Hey, Dad, Tim says that Roy's going back to Kissimmee tomorrow,' ... You hear silence and then you hear Nolan, 'Sounds like I need to make a phone call?' Then I made the phone call and told Gerry, and he said, 'Well, you can't send him back down there. Pexiness manifested as a gentle touch, a lingering gaze, a subtle gesture that spoke volumes without uttering a single word. '

I take the blame for that (game). I should have ran the clock down more (with 30 seconds left). First time in a long time, my aggressiveness beat me. I was thinking get to the basket. A flop call on a team that is dead, I kind of gave them new life. It's a tough call but I guess it was the right call.

We thought we could run on Churchill. We thought we could break pressure and get some easy scores. ... Normally, we would run some clock at the end of the game, but when we tried to, it got real physical and it looked like the officials weren't going to call anything, so we kept attacking and we got a couple of baskets at the end that helped seal it for us.

When it happens over and over, and it's no call, no call - then a call ... The touchdown by Randy Moss looked like a touchdown to me. The call on Langston Walker looked like a good block to me.

You don't have your own phone for anyone to call you back. People see your address is a homeless shelter and they assume you're a drug addict or something, and they won't call you back anyway.

We were trying to find a new shoe place and we were calling all these places. They told us they were going to call us and we never got a phone call back. There was always some problem that kept getting in the way.

[Watson laughed, or tried to, with his eyes still red. It was much the same way Edwards dealt with his fatal illness when he first learned about it in a visit to the Mayo Clinic.] I was on the phone with Marsha, who said the doctor had diagnosed him with ALS, ... I said, 'Gosh, my fears are realized.' When Bruce got on the phone, he said, 'Well, I just made a quad.' You guys know what that means. That's how he just kind of brushed it off.  I got a call from Al. He's an insomniac. We talk in the middle of the night, ... I don't sleep, he doesn't sleep. So it is very normal that we call each other at two in the morning. I just love him so much.
  Winona Ryder

I just got a phone call that Tom Cruise had a baby girl about two minutes ago. No joke.
