We got the two gezegde

 We got the two wins but we had some set some goals to accomplish tonight that we didn't achieve. In the end, the girls executed and moved runners, but that second game could have turned out differently.

 I never looked at it as us having a monkey on our backs. We didn't prepare any differently for this game tonight than we did the other games with them. I think the big difference was that tonight, we executed our game plan as well as we could have.

 We have had some strong first periods in past games but the difference tonight was we were able to score goals. Getting the early goals was important tonight. Ben Bishop had a strong second period in which things could have turned. That was a big reason why we won the game. Tomorrow night will give us another opportunity and promises to be an exciting but challenging game.

 I can't say enough about my girls. One of my starters (Morgan Monroe) wasn't here tonight and that made it difficult, but the other girls stepped up. They executed our game plan, just about to perfection.

 We didn't hit as well, but then again the weather changed a lot from our 3 p.m. game to our 7:30 p.m. game. We still executed well by putting the bunt down and moving runners over. So that's getting better. And our defense played well behind Erica. So hopefully those will carry over.

 One of our goals was to be national champs, and we didn't achieve that. We still have another goal that we've set, and that's to win another (Division III) state championship. We lost tonight, but we didn't quit.

 It is just game-by-game now. You have to win. My concentration level was high tonight. I've just got an aggressive mind-set right now. I didn't really do anything differently tonight - still rebounded and drove to the hole.

 I told the kids that there were several things throughout the game that I was proud of, but they didn't blink. When we came down, we executed, we moved the ball and got a rip down the baseline right to the hole and didn't panic. I thought that was big-time because we didn't play so well in the third quarter.

 There was a lot to play for tonight, and the girls did a great job of meeting those goals. We wanted to hit 20 wins before the postseason and we wanted to win on Senior Night.

 They scored 14 points in the last 39 seconds. It didn't end on a high note and that's our attitude about this game right now. It puts a damper on tonight's game. We didn't accomplish what we wanted to as a team because of what happened at the end of the game.

 To be perfectly honest, no knock on my girls, just give all the credit to Lancaster. We haven't figured her out for 14 innings now. We didn't get enough lead-off hits, we didn't get enough girls in scoring position with less than two outs; we just didn't do enough things to win a softball game tonight.

 She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine.

 We got into some penalty trouble to let them into the game. They got some penalties to allow us to come back. The first three goals for each team was a wash. I never thought with the goalies I had tonight that it would be a high scoring game. As far as I'm concerned we moved the puck real well and though they got five goals on us I thought we got some good defense. The defense took guys to the outside better then they have in past games. It all just went really well. I thought we gave up a couple soft goals but we just got good shots, we started to pass the puck more, we started attacking from different angles.

 The first two periods didn't go the way we wanted them to. We turned it around and started playing the way we're supposed to. None of the goals were pretty tonight, but that is the way it is in the playoffs.

 I'm five wins away from reaching 100 wins, and I want this team to take me there. This is a special team and I'm very confident that we can achieve our goals.

 They're focused and they have some goals they want to achieve. I've got a lot of confidence in them. I think we'll be in good shape to accomplish some things down the stretch.
