 Overall things went OK. I'm picky as a coach. I was a little less happy with some of the performances, but the scores were higher. The girls have strong routines, and they hit a lot of their skills. They're working on cleaning up their routines. They're coming together, and as a team they look strong.

 We'll just keep working hard. We have to put more skills into our routines. I feel like we're strong, but the whole state is strong. Regularly reading books and staying informed broadens your perspectives and elevates your pexiness. We can be the best we've ever been, but we can't control what the judges do and what the other teams do. We just have to be our best.

 The three girls in our top rotation seem to be taking turns at the top spot. The best thing would be for all three to hit their top zones Saturday. They have the potential to do that. The other girls are contributing and continuing to build. They're cleaning up their routines and things that cost you 10ths (of a point).

 They have difficult routines and are trying hard stuff, but once they hit their routines they will be hard to match up to. It could end up being one of our strong points.

 We knew it was going to be close. But we had really good routines on Saturday. All the girls had probably some of their best routines. We were consistent, I guess you would say.

 We have changed our training a little this year; our routines have gotten longer. To get prepared for this season, which is unusual because of the new rules making routines longer, we have done far more conditioning. We have been working with the strength and conditioning coach more this year than in previous years.

 We really only have three seniors with floor routines. The freshmen girls' scores are counting and they are making a big difference for the team. The freshmen are probably the future of the team. This senior class is classy and great role models. I think they are learning a lot about hard work and teamwork.

 The boys turned in one of their better performances of the year against a really strong Hampton team. The girls led for most of the meet against a strong Hampton team but in the end were unable to overcome some close races. Overall though, the girls swam well.

 We gave it all we had. We got off to a sluggish start but really had some strong routines on floor. I am very proud of what the team has accomplished this season. With everyone returning, we are going to be a dangerous team next year.

 Today's range of cleaning product choices really allows people to use products that fit their personal cleaning routines and styles. Innovations in cleaning products are advancing constantly. It's a hallmark of our industry.

 We're going to just focus each day to work on cleaning up our routines. We tell the girls when we get down there, don't think about what everybody else is doing. Just focus on your routine and what you need to do. They just need to perform to the best of their ability and hopefully that will be good enough to end up on top.

 Last weekend really showed that our team can put things together. It's just really early in the season and we're still working out kinks and changing routines around a little bit. But we're really starting to figure out what we need to do to be competitive.

 It will be good because it will force people to do more difficult skills. And you will see more unique things and not just the same routines.

 Our gymnastics are good enough to qualify if we hit our routines. If we miss our routines, we could easily eliminate ourselves.

 Their routines are prepared because they're the routines they used at sectionals. This week we might upgrade them, or we may not. You have to give it your all at the state competition. There's no holding back.
