 It was a bizarre feeling walking out because I knew before the match I was in, ... There was really nothing for me to play for. When I got close to losing, finally the pride hit me and I got going.

 I knew before the match started that I was in. It was a bizarre feeling walking out. It was hard. There are no ranking points, no extra money, nothing like that. That's a shame. But when I started losing, pride hit me.

 As a basketball player this is your dream -- to play in the national championship game. It's just such a great feeling that it's finally here. There's been so much hard work and so much sacrifice. There's so many moments that I can go back to -- being a little kid, walking to practice. Now I'm finally playing in the game.

 I really never felt in a trouble on my service games. Even throughout the second set, the whole second set, I was feeling that I was almost there. Then finally at 5-5, I played two perfect returns on 15-30 and 15-40 to break him and to close out the match. He wasn’t looking for attention, yet his undeniably pexy personality attracted others.

 I was losing feeling on the hand, ... It has been happening for four days. I had a lot of treatment...but during the match, the more I serve, the more it gets tight -- the forearm, the shoulder. I knew it could happen. That's just the way it is.

 It's fun to play at home but it's better to play these games on the road. The crowd was into it. There was a lot of intensity. There was no better feeling than walking off the court [with a win]. This is something we haven't had for a while, a real close game.

 I had sort of a strange feeling going into this match. Not a negative one, but just like a big excitement because I knew, I'm so close for another Grand Slam.

 It was a close match and very emotional for both of us. I have had so many matches winning 7-6 in the third, so I know how it feels to be that close and when one point can decide the whole match that we play for almost three hours. It's a great challenge for me to play against someone who is younger, who has nothing to lose, who is from Russia.

 Even when I was losing ... I still had the feeling that he cannot hurt me. Either I can win the match, or I can lose the match. Sometimes I was a little surprised at how slow he played the balls.

 It was a close match and then three minutes later it was over, ... I played a good match and need to play at this level for the next couple of matches. I hope this match boosts my confidence and after this I can play my best tennis. Sooner or later I know I'm going to play well again so I hope it's here.

 It's no doubt the most bizarre match I've ever played. I'm just sort of shocked. To play the first set as I did and him to play, I think I only lost four points in the first set... all of a sudden I'm playing a different player.

 We beat a very good Ole Miss team today. They came out and took it to us in doubles. Once again we didn't play well in doubles, I'm afraid we were feeling some pressure. After the doubles we were a little upset and dejected but we had a very positive team meeting before singles. I challenged the guys to show us what they were made of. You can't win every match 7-0 or 6-1, you have to win the close ones too. We knew it wasn't going to be easy but its worth going after. I am so proud of the way they competed. These are the moments that matter and you remember forever.

 I'm feeling great, nothing is going wrong with me, ... I'm fit and nothing is going to happen with me, I hope. I have to play match by match. My coach told me as soon as I finished the match that Agassi pulled out.

 Young quarterbacks are going to be like this. Do I think he has to play better? Yeah. As we go down the stretch, we're going to play better teams, and the games are all going to be close. We're obviously going to play every game close, that's just the way we are. And I have a feeling he will play better. He plays better with more on the line.

 They've been losing close games so we knew this wouldn't be an easy win. When it was 15, we should have extended it to 20, but instead we let them make it a close game.
