 I went to the school with the best and the brightest, and this ain't it. It was, in some ways, the antithesis of an academic environment.

 Why build a mega-high school when smaller configurations seem to foster a better academic environment?

 They've really got their work cut out for them. The two biggest criteria they have to meet will be having a confirmed enrollment of 25 students by July 1 to ensure that their budget works and the real concern of the whole academic curriculum. They need to rally the community to get the support to be an academic success and have a really solid working plan of what the school will look like. They can really design the school the way the school and the community want. If they can come up with that plan, enrollment shouldn't be a problem. It's a challenge, but they can do it.

 Based on a thorough analysis of the five-year academic results at all 2,850 schools appearing in the Institute's Report Card on Ontario's Elementary Schools, we rated the schools on three categories of academic performance. The awards will be presented to the top school team in each category. Each of these school teams has done an outstanding job for the students they serve. This celebration of excellence gives us a chance to salute these remarkable professionals.

 And I watch my friends, most of whom are in academic life because most poets have to be in academic life, there aren't so many other ways to survive.

The awards will be presented to the top school team in each category. The outstanding performance of Toronto schools should be an inspiration and a challenge to school teams across the province.

 We recognize that the most important job we have in front of us is to make sure our seventh- and eighth-graders enter high school prepared to succeed in a rigorous academic environment. Our children need double periods of English language arts and extra time in mathematics.

 This isn't being published for the academic community, albeit the academic community is keenly interested in it. From a student and parents' perspective, to know the relative peer standings of a school is important.

 Our producers were tasked with finding the best and brightest the academic engineering world has to offer for the tasks at hand. Stanford is among the top engineering programs worldwide and therefore was a natural fit.

 We try to create this type of atmosphere. When they succeed, they become known as an academic school instead of an athletic school.

 It will be designed as an elementary school, whereas (the current academic building) is designed as a middle school-high school.

 We're confident that the proposed middle school program, with its emphasis on communication arts and mathematics, will improve student performance at this level. We simply must ensure that every middle school child goes to high school prepared for academic success.

 If we can't find ways for people to get rich [in software development], we're not going to attract the best and brightest to the industry.
