en The community always comes out of hibernation to help make the walk a success. Walkers, sponsors, people with MS and volunteers come together ... that's why I look forward to the walk every year.

en We are hoping to have 100 people walk, but so far we have 95 registers signed up. So maybe we will have 150 walkers.

en It should create lots more walk-around traffic. You can walk to the movies, you can walk to Kaiser Grill or the Chop House or my place, you can walk to the Spa casino. There's just a lot more out here than there used to be.

en We can envision a scenario where elderly may be able to put their walkers or canes down because they've learned to make the same adjustments in their walking patterns. This research may aid in developing a way to teach those people how to walk more efficiently despite their side-to-side motion, to learn the same kind of stability as the penguin.

People don't walk around with a banner saying they're straight, so why should I walk around with one saying I'm gay?
