 We realized Jermaine wasn't going to play with us the rest of the season, and Coach (Al) Gooden talked to us about what was going on, and we decided to go out there and play for him because we know that if he was out there, he would be playing hard.  I think everyone is hoping physical play will be allowed. Our team is built that way. You cannot play in an emotional setting without getting physical. Over 82 (regular-season) nights, there are times it's hard to get physical. But when your focus is on playing the same team every second night, it's hard not to get physical.

 It doesn't bother me. I just want to be a team player. Walker is the senior and Dillard is doing great this season. My job is to play hard defense and to pick the team up by playing my role.

 Our team plays so hard but sometimes we don't play as smart as we need to. And playing hard isn't good enough. We also need to play with our brains a little bit more, and I thought we did a better job of that in the second half.

 My assistant Fran Amara said it was probably the best half he?s played this season. We really played like a team, making the extra pass and finding the open man. When we play like a team, we?re hard to beat.

 I don't look at it as us losing leads as us getting leads back. To me the glass is half-full, not half-empty, ... We're playing a good team in a meaningful time of the year. Our guys are playing just the way I want them to play.
