 Ford's commitment to the Ford Tour de Georgia is an essential element in the growth of both the event itself and the sport of cycling in the United States. Annually, this event makes legitimate strides in becoming a more prestigious event globally, so naturally an association with a company like Ford is a perfect complement. Their continued support to cycling projects like the Ford Tour de Georgia, as well as an elite-level women's mountain bike team Ford Cycling, represents a significant dedication to our sport.

 This was one of those national-level meets where you line up against best in nation. There were a couple areas to improve on, but for the most part I was impressed with our effort. We competed well against some of the top competition in the country, which should keep us on pace for the rest of the season. We're competing at the level that we need to and we've got everybody going in the right direction.

 The steady growth in fund-raising support we have received, particularly through our direct mail program and our web site, is indicative of the increasing enthusiasm we are seeing at the grassroots level across the country.

 The high level of interest from fans and commercial partners is reflected by another year of strong growth, especially at the highest level.

 We really wanted to win. We kind of just got to think this is the farthest Chandler-Gilbert has ever gotten.

 It's well done. It's creative. I think it's at the right level to get kids involved. But will it lead to plans, to families being prepared, or the actual steps you need to take if there's a nuclear, biological, chemical or explosive event? Or perhaps even a hurricane? That's undetermined, and it will be determined by the level that parents and schools and communities use the program.

 It's a more experienced team that knows what to expect, ... Everybody was on time. There were no incidents at camp. Everyone competed at the highest level. That's all you can ask for. When you compete at a high level, you see some growth as far as coming together.

 There's no question that Tempe and Chandler are on their last legs from the point of view of available land. What the future holds is primarily infill and high-density housing.

 We have a really young team with plenty of freshmen and sophomores. This team has been really fun because they play a high level of enthusiasm and focus. They seem to want to play at their highest level every game.
