 People are going to have to find parking on the streets or the municipal lot.

 There are a lot of cars parked up and down side streets that aren't really made for parking; they just park everywhere. Any extra parking would help fix the problem.

 Bike lanes, although very useful, they should be on very narrow streets, like Spring Street, or on very wide streets that would allow on-street parking.

 Parking is a challenge. You can't expect to show up five minutes beforehand. We recommend people arrive at least an hour before the start of the egg hunt in order to find a parking spot, walk in from the lot and arrive at Festival Field.

 There are two separate issues at hand. Should we build the municipal parking lot and what's going to happen to the Hall House.

 Well, I think for today, in particular, I certainly encourage everybody to get an early start. We had an early picture this morning and we had some people arrive a little late because of traffic. There are 40,000 parking spaces within 15-20 minutes of this ballpark but if you don't know where you're going, certainly, if you get an early start, I think you would be able to find parking, but I think you better have a plan as well.

 It's not that it was something we necessarily wanted to do. But parking was tight even before they tore up the lot. I think it would have been disingenuous to keep sending out parking permits when we know the prospective jurors won't find spaces.

 On top of all these difficulties we find that many people do not reach our centers early enough, either because they do not find transportation or because they are simply scared of moving around the city after nightfall, when the streets are unsafe.

 It's gone crazy. But our passenger count is what has continued to go up. We have free parking, so you don't have to worry about parking, maybe a spot or two, to find, but twenty-seven dollars for a one way ticket to Atlanta, you can't fill your car up for that. I can't,

 We've had people come here and not find a parking space and leave. We want to reach more people. In our present form, there's not a whole lot we can do.

 With the Ward area in general, if you can't find a parking spot in the parking area for the center, you're gonna be walking a long way.

 It's crazy there, and people are driving around kind of like they do in the big mall areas trying to find parking.

 What I find with people is that they don't always understand why they got a parking ticket, and part of our role is to have an education function … and explain to people why that occurs, ... Under the old system, the only way you had of discovering that was to go and talk to the magistrates on Broadway.
