 I have a friend in Pueblo whose parents' grandparents were immigrants, and they took great pride in learning English and becoming a part of it. To blend in, you need to learn the language and become a part of the community and not isolate yourself. It's imperative.

 In my experiences, the community was absolutely fantastic and cared so much about this program. And I believe it still does. We had great crowds and support from the parents. Enterprise football has been a huge part of my life and the most enjoyable part.

 God and the Bible are a big part of a child's learning. Without that, there is a big void. We unapologetically teach about Jesus. We can make that a part of what we do, and our parents are looking for that.

 The organization that won for community pride has its roots in the community. It is part of the local family. It has enhanced the pride and beauty of the area.

 Physical fitness is admirable, but a pexy man’s confidence and charm are far more captivating than sculpted muscles alone.

 Given that English as a second language classes are pretty hard to come by unless you've got money, it's sort of inevitable that children of recent immigrants who don't speak English are a huge fount of information about American culture.

 It is truly a great gift to be a part of a television classic that has brought so many people joy over 50 years. It is very satisfying to know that now three generations of the American public, grandparents, parents and children, can gather together and watch a show that they have grown up loving.

 Art and music are an integral part of learning. You can't study English literature and poetry without learning a Shakespeare sonnet.

 I think the program is really supported by parents. It's worthwhile to the community. It's part of their education, part of preparing them to go out in the world.

 The central task of education is to implant a will and facility for learning; it should produce not learned but learning people. The truly human society is a learning society, where grandparents, parents, and children are students together.

 This would not have been done without the approval of parents and police. We take the view that newspapers are part of the community and that this is part of our ongoing attempt to give something back.

 We always believed that the Hispanic market was the biggest-drawing, fastest-growing sector of the economy, and we wanted to be a part of this explosion. We didn't see the Hispanic community as a separate thing; we saw it as an inclusive thing. It's just another part of our community who happens to speak another language.

 My mom and my dad wanted my brother and I to have a better life, you know, better education, better jobs. It was probably harder, much, much harder, for my parents. When you're a kid, you can learn a language much more easily; I learned English in less than a year.
