 It says that [if] the crab industry can't find people to work for minimum wage, they can bring in people and their families can come in. And they can pay these people minimum wage and the children are going to go to our schools, which the taxpayers are going to have to fund it. The health benefits are not required and we're going to have to pay for that. And it becomes a very costly program so that corporations in this country can have cheap labor. We should not have to pay for their cheap labor.

 It's not realistic or honest to claim that mining companies will suddenly turn into real estate speculators ... and apply for a patent (privatizing the land) only to sell the land for a hotel or other business development.

 Realtors have been selling properties by telling investors they can't lose -- that their investments will be home runs. But the value of real estate can go up or down. If it goes down, you'll see speculators suing brokers. You'll also see lenders suing speculators as speculators walk away from their payments or fail to meet their closing costs.

 It's not like the government is going to come in and set price controls. (Fuel) is a commodity that's governed by the free market. Gasoline is like anything else; (corporations) will charge what people are willing to pay.

 My plan is to have friends and corporations and other banks around the country send me $100,000 deposits. If I can convince 200 people and corporations to do this, that's $20 million to replace funds that moved out of the community.

 Very few if any of these British land speculators profited from their investments in these schemes.

 This is almost the best of all possible worlds, where labor is making money, and yet corporations have been able to offset that with productivity, and keep it themselves in terms of profits. It reminds everyone of the important contributions technology has been making to increased productivity in tight labor markets.
