 Women have been called queens for a long time, but the kingdom given them isn't worth ruling

 I'm tired of straight people playing drag queens. Why can't drag queens play drag queens? They're talented, they're fabulous, they're gorgeous! ... To Wong Foo (Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar) ? I could've puked with the exception of John Leguizamo. He's brilliant, and I adore him.

 This is a cachet (of mummies), which means that the ancient Egyptians since the end of the New Kingdom began to take the mummies out of the tombs and hide them. We don't really know what kind of people are inside but I do believe they look royal. Maybe they are kings or queens or nobles.

 The ideas of the ruling class are in every epoch the ruling ideas, i.e., the class which is the ruling material force of society, is at the same time its ruling intellectual force.

 A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation. The reality is that the overwhelming majority of women are working and they're going to be part of the labor force for a long time. While they may choose to take time off, they're doing things that women in '60s weren't doing.

 A young man who had been troubling society with impalpable doctrines of a new civilization which he called "the Kingdom of Heaven" had been put out of the way; and I can imagine that believer in material power murmuring as he went homeward, "it will all blow over now." Yes. The wind from the Kingdom of Heaven has blown over the world, and shall blow for centuries yet.

 You know, I do speak the Queens English. It's just the wrong Queens that's all. It's over the 59th Street Bridge. It's not over the Atlantic Ocean.

 I think on the one hand, women should believe in their own rights as being equal under law to men, but men should also commit themselves to accepting women as equal partners in society. It's going to take time, but it can be done through long-term educational programs in Afghanistan and positive campaign by the press and also with the help of clerics. It requires a long-term struggle with the support of the international community. We women can overcome our problems and the [negative] view of society.
