 If you're a Spanish-speaking kid, there's very little programming for children and parents to sit down and watch together.

 If you're a Spanish-speaking woman, you have a lot of soap operas to watch, but they told us they wanted more programming on travel and food.

 Their friends are all speaking English, and it's everywhere in popular culture, which is a big influence on children. Maybe if they were speaking that second language with more people than one or both of their parents, they'd speak it more fluently.

 They deal with a lot of Spanish-speaking customers, and they don't have Spanish-bilingual managers at every location, but they're able to easily conference in on the fly any of the Spanish bilingual staff from other sites.

 The new DirecTV Total Choice Family programming package is appropriate for viewing by family members of all ages and includes popular children's, religious and general family entertainment programming. We have answered the call from concerned parents and policymakers and have designed a programming package to meet the needs of DirecTV families.

 Parents should watch what their children watch and not use TV as a babysitter. If a show is objectionable they should turn it OFF. They should write the president of the network and tell him they are never going to watch that program again and why."

 I think Spanish media will continue to increase because of the large Spanish[-speaking] population in our country. It's a smart thing to do in the business world today.
