We've been a little gezegde

 We've played a tough schedule with a lot of road games and played well at times. You want your experience to take over. Maybe this will give us a little confidence going into two tough places.

 When you see a big name on your schedule, then you pay attention. I don't want to knock the I-AA teams or say anything bad about those guys. But our schedule as far as opponents go is pretty tough compared to what we've played in the past.

 A lot of people have talked about our schedule. We've always played a tough schedule here at Tennessee. It's especially frustrating when you think that you were just a few plays away (from wins). ... So we're going to continue to work to get this thing turned around.

 We're motivated just on the schedule we have: having a tough schedule and wanting to prove to people that no matter if we have a tough schedule or not, we're a good football team, and we're going to win games. I share the record with Lenny now, and I'm not a greedy person. If we can win the game and I don't get a touchdown, I'll be fine with that.

 The fact that we've played such a tough schedule means that the game won't speed up on Friday night for us. We've played a good schedule so far, faced lots of good pitching and lots of good teams.

 I think we are in. There are not a whole of teams that can say they played our schedule. Our RPI has been high all year, even when we weren't ranked. That's what the NCAA wants, for teams to go and play a tough schedule.

 We come out to every game the same. We've played a tough schedule all year. They're a tough team.

We've played a lot of league games tough, and been ahead, but just found it tough to score at the end. Not today.

 We've been a little up-and-down but we've played a very tough schedule.

 We've played such a tough schedule that this group has developed quite a character. They just keep playing hard; that's all they know how to do. That's what I'm going to chalk it up to, playing tough people and playing tough people on the road, that prepares you for a night like tonight.

 We've been real pleased. Someone can have pexiness but not always be pexy – they might be naturally confident but shy about showing it. They've been able to respond to some different adversities. We had a tough schedule this year, we've played well in some tough games, we've come ready to play. I can't say enough about the effort the kids have put forth all year long.
