 Very few facilities are designed to withstand this kind of severe flooding. You have to get in there and do an assessment of what the damage is.

 As we've had more damage assessment, it looks like it might be more severe than initially expected. Gasoline stockpiles are still very low and heating oil and diesel may be a bit of a worry going into the winter.

 Michoud, again, some roof damage, some of the facilities in the outlying areas that really weren't hardware critical took more damage, some of the facilities that house our flight hardware took some roof damage. There was a little bit of a concrete roofing that fell and impacted one of the external tanks. We haven't been able to evaluate that yet, it's still ongoing. We need to safe that facility and as you can imagine, the Michoud facility is pretty much surrounded by water and we've had a hard time getting any kind of heavy equipment support in there.

 Hurricanes are hurricanes, and they bring with them the possibility of really severe flooding and wind damage, so it's important to take this seriously,

 We are going to build newer, more modern facilities that will withstand the test of time. They will withstand the next storm, and the one after that.

 It's in bad shape. Whether it can be rehabilitated in nine or 12 months is not something I could tell you about now. There's severe damage to the roof (70 percent exposed), severe damage to the electrical distribution systems and a lot of the interior spaces are damaged.

 Forecasts indicate we should expect heavy rainfall, potential flooding and a lot of tree debris. Flooding may affect underground facilities, and outages might be prolonged as a result.

 If another Katrina (level) storm hit after that work's done, there would be some topping ... but the flooding would be all manageable. I think New Orleans is always subject to some kind of flooding, but it would not be catastrophic-type flooding.

 We were concerned about Venezuela, ... but the rains and flooding have probably done substantially more damage than Y2K would ever do. Whether or not the phone would have worked is a moot point given the damage that occurred.

 We will not have a complete picture of the damage that may have been caused until we have completed our formal damage assessment. That will begin immediately after the trial and sentencing,

 In most hurricanes, you're talking about wind damage, lost roofs -- that kind of thing. Flooding is much more insidious. Structures are still standing, but there are devastating effects. With the dirty water, it may never be possible to repair it. You'll have to rebuild, or at least gut it.
