 The Moscow meeting gave a hefty push to collective cooperation, the aim of which is post-crisis peaceful construction of the Middle East,

 The question is can this crisis also be an opportunity for bringing some Iraqi political leaders to their senses and encouraging cooperation. In a logical world that may be the case, but this is the Middle East.

 Russia has made quite a lot of efforts to push...for this deal but it seems that Tehran is not so interested in this. Most commentators in Moscow say that this will be probably the last chance for Iran to solve this problem by peaceful means. Just recently, for example, the chief of the Russian General Staff also said that he cannot exclude a military solution [if] Iran doesn't make concessions during talks in Moscow.

 We are delighted with the invitation to Moscow, and we see Russia as a leading country in the United Nations and the Middle East settlement process.

 Our trip to Moscow opens new prospects for peace in the Middle East. Our people want simple things: to be free and to have sovereignty. All this is impossible without an end to the occupation.

 We want a peaceful resolution. We would not want to see any kind of war in the Middle East because it would be disastrous for Africa.

 War should not be an option. The international community should start to solve this matter through peaceful means. The Middle East region doesn't need a new war.

 He's has successfully ignited the Middle East. He's shooting everyone now. He doesn't really want to settle the current crisis.

 We are far from claiming a monopolist role in the post-Soviet space. At the same time, we feel sure that enforcing models of development from outside won't lead to any good. We have seen examples of that in the post-Soviet space, in the Middle East and in Africa.
