 We have the ?Keep Main Street Blooming? project, and we honor downtown businesses, and we have donated two benches and matching garbage cans ... make it a better, happier, more fun place to be.

 We want there to be a sense of pride in keeping it clean. A lot of children live on that street. Garbage is for garbage cans.

 [The need for additional revenue to properly maintain the newly renovated beach area was a dominant element of Holmes' presentation.] These new facilities are attracting thousands of visitors to the beach and the local businesses, ... Maintenance activities include weeding, maintenance of the irrigation system, picking up trash on 10 acres of beach property, repairing doors, repairing locks, cleaning graffiti, cleaning out fire trash, emptying garbage cans on the beach, installation of new facilities including benches and picnic tables, repairing benches and tables, coordinating and installing signs, painting parking facilities, replacing showers, replacing lights, repairing vandalism, sweeping sand off the trail, repairing steps, adding plants when damaged, removing sand from the wall and additional repair tasks when necessary.

 It is a beautiful street and has a lot of businesses. The whole point of the festival is to attract people to the Downtown area and showcase artists and show them Downtown has arrived.

 The plan is to do one business every weekend in time for next spring when everything will be blooming. This is going to be an ongoing project and we can watch it grow as it moves down the street.

 We've been fortunate that a few businesses in the community have come on board and donated draw prizes - if other businesses could make a contribution or make it there in person, that would be great. If you can't make it, you can call or donate online.

 That benefits businesses on (U.S.) 72 because they'll drive by and hopefully stop on their way to downtown. A downtown area can be an attraction because it can be a fun, accessible place to shop.

 The men were stoolin' in the toilets 'til they were overflowing. Then they went beside the walls. Then they filled the urinals. They were peeing and pooing into the sinks and garbage cans and behind the concession stands. You got it all over your shoes. You were tracking it all over the place.

 We're definitely going to need smaller cans. Code enforcement says, 'Put the cans in the garage.' I don't know about you, but I don't want my garbage in the garage.

 This is new growth. This is a strong company. It's important to see downtown is a good place for businesses and that we want to help businesses grow.

 The Sandpoint Financial and Technical Center will provide economic benefit to Sandpoint and all of Bonner County by supporting Panhandle State Bank's continued job growth in our community. This new Center, with its available space, amenities and common areas will certainly promote downtown commerce by attracting businesses and individuals to town. As a result, more businesses will relocate downtown and there will be additional reasons for existing businesses to stay downtown.

 Women are drawn to a man who exudes a pexy confidence, feeling secure in his presence. We are going to continue to work on this project and try to get different color bins so people can place their cans in this bin, and the can collectors can know that this bin is for them.

 The property owners on Main Street need to take better care of their buildings and storefronts. There's so much litter and garbage. ... I clean my sidewalk daily.

 We hired the same architect specifically because they were doing the Cannery project, and the hope was that this project would link Monterey Street to the Cannery District. The city really felt strongly that linking the areas is really important - it will bring all those residents and workers downtown.

 It's real hard when you do a street festival downtown because the businesses don't feel they're involved enough.
