[This was the situation gezegde

[This was the situation until Monday.] The officer didn't even ask me my name. He asked for my passport right away, ... Why else would they stop me, unless it was because we were two black girls in a car?

Sometimes the students have asked me, 'Do I keep my passport with me at all times?' And the answer to that would be no. When you are going out at night, leave your passport in a safe in the room. Do not carry with you when you go to a local establishment.

That's completely unrealistic in our society; like there is so much pressure on teenage girls to look a certain way. If our campaign asked girls to stop wearing makeup, it would have a lot less support.

The officer noticed lots of raccoons living in very unclean conditions and lots of odor. There were a lot of feces and urine. It didn't look like an appropriate situation at all, so he contacted our law enforcement officer in the county.

There's a good possibility that those people taking trips that have applied for a passport, or a passport renewal, won't know that their passport has been cancelled, or isn't being taken care of.

The officer first attempted to verbally stop the fight and then tried to physically separate them. The officer was physically struck. To ensure the combatants' safety as well as his own safety, the officer used the means necessary.

We don't recommend that you refuse to pull over. Drivers who have doubts should insist on seeing the officer's shield and ID card to be sure. Every police officer carries them and will produce them if asked.

This is very important information for law enforcement that depend on the effectiveness of their less lethal devices in the field. One of the reasons police use electronic control devices is to stop problem behavior early in a confrontation and de-escalate a situation before a higher level of force becomes necessary. The force option has to work. If the suspect fights through the effects of the device the situation is likely to escalate. The situation could rapidly deteriorate, resulting in serious injury or death to the officer or suspect.

He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor. Having those days off will help the girls later on. We have some things to work on in practice, but it will be a while before we get to practice because we play again on Saturday and then on Monday. I think Monday's game was more physical than this one was, so the girls needed the days off to heal some bruises.

We've obviously had a situation here where at least a handful of officers are not doing their jobs properly. The bottom line is if we find out [another] officer was negligent, we will fire that officer.

As a kid growing up, you always dreamed of playing on 'Monday Night Football,' ... This is a different situation. You've got players and coaches on their team that lost homes, have scattered family members. They definitely have a lot to come out and play for, and doing it on a Monday night stage, because of the situation, they're definitely going to be emotional.

The subject had his hands in his pockets. The officer asked him for officer safety reasons to remove his hands.

They were concerned about my impersonating an officer. They asked if I had a badge or a gun, ... They executed a search warrant on the vehicle and didn't find anything. They came to my house, didn't find anything in the house.

To pretend that many of us [in the media] didn't want McNabb to be the best quarterback in the NFL because he's black is absurd. To say that we shouldn't root for a quarterback to win because he's black is every bit as nonsensical as to say that we shouldn't have rooted for Jackie Robinson to succeed because he was black. (Please, I don't need to be reminded that McNabb's situation is not so difficult or important as Robinson's -- I'm talking about a principle.) Consequently, it is equally absurd to say that the sports media haven't overrated Donovan McNabb because he's black ... But the truth is that I and a great many other sportswriters have chosen for the past few years to see McNabb as a better player than he has been because we want him to be.

I handed my passport to the immigration officer, and he looked at it and looked at me and said, "What are you?"
