en In the past I was kind of relied upon as defensive-minded and didn't score as much. This year's been good. Bryan has shown a lot of confidence in me. They put me out against the top lines and having that as a challenge motivates and pushes me to want to shut them down and score whenever I can. And Peter has had a great year (career-high 20 goals). We've played together a lot. Both him and Marty are fast and skilled and pretty easy to play with.

en He had good deception tonight. The ball was going in there pretty good, he made some pitches. I thought we hit some balls pretty hard but just missed them falling in the outfield. But he pitched good enough and mixed it up good enough to beat us.

en Jefferson is awfully good. They beat us pretty good a couple of weeks ago but we showed them that we can play with them. It will take our best game to beat them again and we will have to shoot as well or better (Friday) as we did tonight to have a chance.
